Before you read the thread, were you aware of GDQ Events?
Not sure if anyone's mentioned it yet, but don't the organizers of the event take most of the donations and barely any of it actually reaches the charity?

Seems to be a lot of people both for and against Games Done Quick / Prevent Cancer Foundation in general. A lot of arguments both for and against the whole thing.

Also, as my contribution to help and spread information about the great things that the speedrunning community has brought, I'd like to extend my efforts also by making a GIVEAWAY TRAIN with 150 giveaways!.
