And that's exactly what this is. A nice little train connecting some of the European capitals.

Up until the first year of the pandemic I used to travel a lot around Europe and was living abroad in Paris, France. A lot has changed since then. I moved back home, changed careers and carefree travels have been replaced with responsabilities. But once I took care of things back home I hope to hop back on a plane / train / bus and get back to traveling.

So hop on, enjoy the scenery, visit a few museums and learn something new about European culture and history.

ALL ABOARD!

Here are a couple of FREE Steam games that I found that could make the "European Capitals" themed list, in case you want to give them a try:

  1. Warsaw: Paris of the North (prototype) - A Choose Your Own Adventure Game, built on text, graphics with plenty of choices that develop the main character’s features and direct him to a variety of plots. Set in 1930’s Warsaw.
  2. 1943 Berlin Blitz - Join a Lancaster bomber crew during a raid over Berlin in World War Two.
  3. Escape to Moscow - A story about a guy, a girl he met, and their adventure. Freelance IT specialist Semyon meet a girl from Dagestan on the Internet. However, their relationship quickly grew over the regular chatting - he decides to help her run away from home. That is how their amazing adventure begins.

As a closing note, here is an extra nugget of information shared by Steamgifts user hbarkas:
Each Euro banknote is marked with the rare element Europium as an anti-forgery feature.

(PS: I have a horrible headache at the mooment so I will finish editing the description later)

This was great! I really enjoyed reading the descriptions haha funny nuggets of information. Half the games are not my style but I was positively surprised to see Poland and Germany in there :)

Thank you and have a bump!

Besides Commandos 3, I don't own any of the games either. I just bought them for creating this train.

Thanks for the bump, even if you didn't enter any of the giveaways. There are many users who enter and don't to this.

Thanks for the informative train. I'll throw in some info about the currency used in the European Union the Euro. Each Euro banknote is marked with the rare element Europium as an anti-forgery feature.

That was a fun tour! Now I can impress my (largely non-existent) friends with my new trivia knowledge ;)

It must've taken some work to find a game for each city. Thanks!

Finding the games was easy. But finding an interesting fact for some of the cities was difficult. And the headache I was having at the moment, did not help :)) I am glad you enjoyed it.

I chose Europe because this is where I live but I could try to create a similar train next month for other cities from around the world. Good idea.
