Aww, that is a very sweet thought of you!! As long as you remember their special day, most girls appreciate pretty much anything you give them. If you know anything about cooking, I'd say bake her something since most girls like sweet pastries. If you know her favorite type of pastry, that's even better. Good luck, I know your efforts will make her happy!! :D

You're right, it's always nice to give something that she would remember you from a bit longer. Snacks don't last for long, that's certain. Well, it's a tough question still since we don't know what you're skilled in and what kind of things you have there to work with. But another suggestion for me is make a little decorative item for her. Woodworks, sewing, drawing, anything you're good at. Maybe a little plushie depicting her favorite animal, if you're good with textiles?? Girls usually love plushies ^~^

I'd suggest not. Tattoos are pretty permanent, you should NEVER take a tattoo on a whim, you will most likely end up regretting it later. What if the relationship doesn't last forever?? Then that tattoo will be there reminding you of that asshat who broke your heart. No, that's a very bad idea.

First of all, name day is not a tradition in Europe, maybe it is for you.
Second, if you think you can satisfy your gf with some generic gift that someone in this forum can tell you, then you are wrong. A good gift is the one that you make taking in count what you know about the other person. If you don't know what to gift her maybe it's because you don't know her at all...which would be really sad.
