It's on sale for $5 on Steam. If you can ignore the DRM, which was removed I believe, would you recommend it?

Thanks.

I thought it was fun, but the game is short regardless. There are 11 missions if I remember right, and some challenges. I beat it in a few hours. $5 is probably about the right price for it. If you think you'll like it, go for it.

parts of it feel like a bad port from console, but i enjoyed it (actually still playing the challenges). i'd say it's worth $10 if you're into this sort of game. if you're into creating disasters though, the men won't last long so you'll enjoy it more if you want to play to tame nature and help the men.

as for the drm, it uses uplay which has its own drm and patching in addition to steam's. originally it had internet-always-required drm, but they actually patched that out since so many people were upset over them saying it would only require one-time internet activation. i believe it still requires some sort of internet connection either just on the first startup or possibly on every startup, but it won't dump out of the game if you lose connection while playing anymore.

I think the game mechanic is very interesting. I have only played it on Xbox but even then, I find it hard to get into the game. The water physics blew my mind.
