As explained by others, it turns out the "Steam" part only applies to the exclusive loot you might get.
Otherwise if you get picked for a non-exclusive, you can get anything really (Origin/Uplay/GOG/Steam/..)

Might have some benefit to make note in the OP that pack choice only determines exclusives and that the general drop pool for packs can include non-Steam games, given how frequently users comment on the matter.

Users are confusing the exclusives for packs (which are in fact typically only composed of Steam content) with the fact that all packs draw from the same pool of non-exclusives (as listed further down in the details of any pack's description), which contains content for any platform.
The confusion here shouldn't be about the redemption policy, but instead seems to be one of unfamilarity with the distinction between exclusives and non-exclusives within packs.

I won Prismata from them a few days ago so I sent in a support ticket telling them it had become free to play and asked if I could get a different game. They let me choose from 3 other games and gave me my choice. It was Switch Galaxy Ultra, the only one I didn't have.
So if you win a free to play game, maybe ask them if they'll replace it.
Prismata was a game that had become free-to-play, not a game that had been previously given away.
I asked them to remove Prismata from their pool of games but I don't know if they will.

It actually released as an Early Access game, and became free after it left Early Access. As such every single key for the game should be an early access promotional key- meaning its inclusion into lootboy packs may have been accidental to begin with. :shrug:

It seems Lootboy has gotten a lot better when it comes to duplicated keys, but if you still have doubts about a key, you can use the group below for those giveaways :)
Unfortunately it happens far too often that Lootboy is handing out duplicate keys, so a lot of people feel uncomfortable with creating public giveaways with the games from Lootboy. So I just created a little group with some rules to make it less risky for the generous givers.I hope this helps :)
