I believe it's the Endless Space Definitive Edition because I got this card too and that is the only version I have in my library!

The Gold Edition was Endless Space Emperer Edition (Base Game) + Disharmony DLC

Later this was upgrgraded to the Definitive Edition.
So your card should be for the Definitive Edition.

It's zero CV so you could try giving it away in one of the forum topics. Especially as it's permanently free through the publisher's site as far as I know. So everyone can get this themselves.

I just got this -- but when I try to redeem the card to start the diamond thing.... it tells me the campaign has already ended.

I missed it too, but I wouldn't call it shady. It says directly above the daily boost route:
"The route progress will be reset in 🕒#d #h."

Not shady just enforcing a common practice of being active daily so it gives them a false sense of "popularity" and "increase" in profit.

Friday is always day 1 for EVERYONE (in Europe), it never changes. So most likely you did miss a day. Or depending on your country, it's your timezone screwing you up.

I had a mistake. I took the reward for the 6th day, but they didn't give it to me, and on the 7th day the timer was reset for 1 day
