gift cards and wallet codes are region restricted according to the currency and have been for almost a year already, and i'm not sure exactly what currency lootboy's gift card uses (i think HK dollar), but it's DEFINITELY not argentinean peso, aka my currency, so yeah the chances of it not working due to that were massive

If the currency you are converting is anywhere near of your store currency, then you can redeem it and convert successfully. For examole, you can redeem euro card in US region successfully. You cannot however redeem argentinan peso or turkish lira, or even saudi real in us region because of how much 1usd is valued against these currency.

Contact support and they'll give you a code compatible with your currency. I use EUR and I've exchanged HKD twice with success. Dunno what currencies will be compatible with argentinean peso but support will solve it.

Here's what to do.
If u know lootboy contact support email, send them directly these attachments = send them with proof of failed of activation (steam redeem wallet page on browser along with error message --appeared yellow), send them the screenshot of your account details page on Steam, with browser of course --not steam app. Attach both screenshots on e-mail and DONT BLUR any of the info including the wallet key. BE REALLY CAREFUL always check the right lootboy support email. (i type this to make your process faster)
I hope it helps. Happen to me once with $20 Steam wallet. And yes, they will REPLACE your key within a week. Don't worry.

Mostly because on CS:GO pack I can see € reward, instead of $ reward (SS pack). And as I live in Spain, I would won more being an euro reward instead of dollar reward.

Eh, I wouldn't be surprised if this was a typo... I mean, why would Lootboy offer €EUR in CSGO packs, but $USD in other premium packs? That doesn't really make sense.

It seems Lootboy has gotten a lot better when it comes to duplicated keys, but if you still have doubts about a key, you can use the group below for those giveaways :)
Unfortunately it happens far too often that Lootboy is handing out duplicate keys, so a lot of people feel uncomfortable with creating public giveaways with the games from Lootboy. So I just created a little group with some rules to make it less risky for the generous givers.I hope this helps :)
