Actually, I got these problems before, and support change the code in 72 hours for a valid one.
What I noticed was that although they are codes for worldwide, these codes do not work in Latin America.
Plus I paid for the season ticket to get those codes, it's not fair that they don't replace it for codes that work.

Sometimes there is a delay when you activate steam credit which tells you that the code is invalid ! Try again using the code a few hours later and it may activate ! It happens sometimes given the code is not already duplicate !

same here..its been more than month and no replacemnt code provided. having seen invalid code i refrained rom using my remianing black market chip on steam code.

Ok, thanks to all those TOTY and Grand Cruise packs for 10 dia each, I managed to colloect 75 black market chips and got 5$ steam code. And, even better, it worked (from this thread I see that not everyone is so lucky). Imho totally worth it.

For every 10 premium packs you buy you are getting one black market pack that contains one card with black market chips, from my experience it was 4..7 chips, maybe it can give more, check the description on their site, I don't know. And if you buy those packs with 10 diamonds they are considered premium packs, and thus also drop black market packs after every 10th purchase. Unsure if getting packs in mobile app for watching ads counts too, maybe someone who does this can tell?

Just asking. So it turns out that you need to spend somewhere around 1500 diamonds to get $5 (10 dias x 10 packs x repeat 15 times)? And no side bonuses like steam keys, right, these packages contain only unnecessary coins and cards? These diamonds are still lying idle, but does it make sense to wait for international promotions with Steam packs?...

I already had over 20 chips, and was never going to get to 75 before the BM ends, so it's less than 1500 for me, which is why I'm doing it.

Well, a bit less for me, since I've already had some chips (20+ iirc) before those 10dia packs started to appear. Yes, international promotion with Steam packs would be a bit better still, but with recent tendencies it becomes less and less probable. And those steam keys from LB are usually trash, so I decided that it worth a try. I won't repeat it again though.

The deal already kind of sucked for the time you have to put in, I've only been able to get it once before in like a whole year (without spending any money) I only have 37 in my inventory rn... but I'm sure I've generated quite a bit of profit for them in ads and whatever other information they collect, they're so cheap... I'm not spending money on this app cause they don't respect it

It's really unfair to the people who pay expecting to work towards a certain reward and they pull the rug out from under them and change the rules whenever it suits them :s They could at the very least give a warning before they're about to do it

I think they did that on purpose.
And the black market itself is a bad idea. It used to be that for 10 premium packs they gave you a gold bonus pack with 100-200 diamonds.

Seems like the sticker from this TOTY event are generally much higher in numbers than with the event before.
I'm already at a full team with a score of 932 from the free stuff without any "upgrade" possibilitys available this time.
My guess is that it is a tactic to trick people into thinking they get better cards this time and are animated to buy more stuff.
But the reality is that it is some kind of inflation and higher numbers are worth less.

The theory was that people were animated to spend stuff, not nessessary to get better stuff in the end.
And by spending diamonds...you kinda proved that theory to be correct.
I don't remember exactly what number the high cards were at the last event, but the effect that a 95 or 99 free card has on you at the start of the event....and still getting cards in the high eighties animates you more to take part in this event as getting low seventies cards again like in the last event.

I don't know if its just luck on my side or if they raised the RNG again, but I have gotten a lot of good cards the last few days and I'm currently at 964 with the free cards.
The card from the upgrade challenge and from the 7-day boost, both were less than I already had.
My highest card is only 95 because I didn't get a 99-card from the voting at the beginning :(

I stopped getting the 10 diamonds packs when i realized Lootboy had stopped counting them as Black Market eligible, and anyway, there were more chances of getting big cards, but it was the same as the free packs on phone.
It made me reach 972, but no way i win anything with that i think.

Just a heads-up for the hoarders among us:
I had a card for Chicken Assassin Reloaded, but when I tried to scratch it for the code, it gave an error. I contacted support who proposed to give me diamond for it, but when I emailed them back that I'd accept it, they responded that because I received the card over 2 years ago, that it falls outside of warranty and that they wouldn't do anything about it.

It's since Lootboy needed another excuse to not hand out games. This is what they said in their email:
"After two years, the statutory warranty expires according to German law. Therefore, we will not replace the Card in this case."
Warranty implies I actually received a game (or even just a key), which I did not. But it's not worth the trouble to go through.

i like to save up to 2500+ diamonds and then buy the next guaranteed credit with pack of 10 but get a 25x pack so i get 2 guaranteed credits and 5 extra packs compared to two 10x packs for the same amount of diamonds.

It seems Lootboy has gotten a lot better when it comes to duplicated keys, but if you still have doubts about a key, you can use the group below for those giveaways :)
Unfortunately it happens far too often that Lootboy is handing out duplicate keys, so a lot of people feel uncomfortable with creating public giveaways with the games from Lootboy. So I just created a little group with some rules to make it less risky for the generous givers.I hope this helps :)
