It occurred to me that I did not clearly state that the solutions do more than merely look like they should rhyme. They are actually identical except for the first letter. That's more restrictive, which may help you narrow your ideas faster. (I imagine many folks already figured that out, though.)

That's hard for non-native english speakers or at least for me
Comment has been collapsed.
Sorry. If there are certain ones that are particularly hard for non-natives, I could add stronger hints. But I still do want it to be at least a little challenging for the natives. It's a hard balance to meet.

well, sad. I consider myself that I can speak english pretty well, but that gave me hard time, so i just read it and said: well, nothing here for me. So, have a nice day and good luck to all <3

Non native speaker here, and I'm just missing 1-5-9 and 10 without hints. Hope that nugget of information helps in some way
Edit: got 10 with no hints
Edit: got 9 with no hints
Edit: got them all with hints.

You might want to check with the OP before posting these kinds of spoilers.... Some might take issue 🙃

Yeah, could you scrub that comment please? You're closer than you may know. (In fact, I'll go edit it to allow that. You'll need to clear your cache/site cookie to enter it again, I think.)

Well, just missing 1 and 2 from part2... hints did nothing for me today. I'll check again tomorrow with a clear head.
design resign (?)
Comment has been collapsed.
For me, I could say resign one of two ways, depending on the meaning I'm using. The stressed syllable and the S sound both change. So, given the proper context, that works.

Just missing Q1 of part 2. Could you share the answer once the puzzle is over? It's driving me mad.

that seems pretty hard for non native speakers, I'll pass
Comment has been collapsed.
Maybe plop down an answer and check in an hour when the hints reveal? They might make it doable for you.

The Raven (an un-recitable poem)
Why, o why did Poe try
to put birds in poetry?
Comment has been collapsed.
I've got 7/10. Really stuck on these last 3 (1, 5, 6). Hopefully, I'll figure things out when the hints pop. :)

Finally got it! Really cool puzzle...that coffee one was kind of hard, probably impossible for non-native English speakers.
I now need more points. There were no trains (other than mine :D) for like a month, and now there are 4-5. lolz
Thanks again!

The adjective, noun, or both? I'll try to provide a more explicit hint for the part that's troublesome.

My English skills are pathetic (I even had to google what "quilting bee" is, and the translation wasn't exactly helpfull), only 5 guessed so far, but I'll definitely come back later for the hints.
Edit: 6 so far, still waiting for hints. I must say, that's a pretty exciting puzzle.
Edit: 7 so far, and I'm determined to guess them all, yeah.

Bump!
Comment has been collapsed.
Assuming this is guzzles puzzles, I say them so that they rhyme.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, it was difficult enough to say something meaningful and on-topic. Making it also not rhyme seems a bit of an overkill for a bump. ;-)

Fun fact about your image there.
That guy was played by Tim Russ, who went on to play Tuvok in later Star Trek roles. He was also uncredited for that role in Spaceballs.

Not sure if I should invest more time on this. For most questions I needed a dictionary to understand them. But I couldn't solve anyone so far. Do I have to look for two answers which are identical but the first letter differs or do I search a single word as answer and then have to find a similar word which differs only with the first letter or is the answer always two words?
Comment has been collapsed.
The answer consists of two words which only have a different first letter. The "Questions" hint partly on the first and the second word.
E. g. if the question would be "a dreamer gone crazy" the answer would be "loony moony" 😄 (But I think those two words rhyme, while the words you search for don't rhyme)
Comment has been collapsed.
All answers are two words, where the letters are the same except for the first, and they don't rhyme. For example, "come home". I provide a hint that identifies the phrase, like "arrive at your residence" to lead you to the answer. The ITH hints will give you the letter count and a second hint at the phrase. Keep in mind that the ten questions are arranged so that the answers are in alphabetic order. I have heard that has been very helpful for some folks.
I apologize if it doesn't work too well for some non-native English speakers/readers.

Mmm.. weird, when I looked at it yesterday I could see the hints on ITH but not today. (reload page, tried different browser)
EDIT: just tried again and they are displayed now. Thanks they are a great help.

Jesus, there's also a part 2. No way am I doing it today :)
Anyway, I just wanted to confirm that the puzzle was totally solvable even with my mediocre English skills, and hints were really helpful; shouldn't be too hard for a native speaker, I guess.

The English language is very strange. I've compiled a small list of errata, can I get a bug fix?
