Awesomenauts Tournament interest check

I've been planning on giving away a bunch of Awesomenauts skins at some point in the near future, and when I was looking at them, I got the idea to put together a little Steamgifts Awesomenauts tournament

Now, before I go setting this out and buying the prizes, I'd like to see if there's enough of an interest to actually do this. There would be no entry fee, and the prize would be either the "Costume Party" skin pack, or 1 copy each of the three 3 packs, "Mean and Green," "Tropical Thunder," and "Blast From the Past." I'm leaning towards the three three packs, so each person on the team would get one of the packs. I also had the idea of just letting each member of the winning team pick one or two skins that I just buy for them :P

Obviously, it would be teams of three, and I'm thinking single elimination would likely work best. I also think that best 2 out of 3 would work best, but am very open to suggestions.

Checking the interest gives me time to figure all that out based on if only three people are interested, or if 100 are. A simple reply of "I'm interested!" would work fine with me. Also, feel free to post any suggestions as to how I should run the tournament or for other prizes.

Won't participate but sounds interesting enough, much better than the traditional puzzle or giveaway.

EDIT: Or maybe I will participate, gotta see.

That was another thought I had, making a private giveaway only open to tournament participants, or something along those lines, but I think just normal prizes might be more interesting.

As a prize would be much better. That way people won't participate just to enter the giveaway but participate in hopes to win. Or you could also make several tournaments and give a link to a private giveaway to each one of the winners.

Great 2D Moba game, I just love the idea and the game. Count on me!

Sounds pretty sweet. Both the idea of some competitive gameplay and being awarded for it. I'm not a very experienced Awesomenauts player, so if the turnout is huge I won't participate, not to ruin my potential team's chances of winning.

Well, you could always just make a team of inexperienced or new players. I'm planning on taking team rosters, not just taking people and tossing them together in groups of three.

That's what I'm planning on. It'll be a private group, and invites only get sent out when I get a roster of three people from someone on the team. I don't know if I want to be so strict as to make team captains, especially since it's only three people per team

3 Friends that have experience as a team could easily own any random made teams. :\

Unless there are huge objections to it, I'm planning on taking team rosters. I was also planning on making a 'find a team' thread for anyone that wants to play but doesn't have a team already, which I suspect is most people.

If there's a HUGE turnout (which I doubt) I could always do a preset team and random team tournament, or something along those lines.
