Like I said, I totally support this topic ;) But semantic just sounds wrong in my head. You can treat something like a human if this something is not human, thus despite best intentions this sentence makes it sound like non-heteronormative people were not actually people, that's my problem with it.
and inb4 all Mully defenders come ganking up on me like usual - don't get me wrong - this time I do fully support the idea of the thread, all it's intentions and everythig that stands behind it. I simply state that "treat like human being" is quite unfortunate choice of words for it.
