Best way to trade high value CS items?

Preface: This IS NOT a trading thread, it is a legitimate question - so please DO NOT offer stuff here (its against steamgifts rules). Also please do not add me to randomly offer, I am simply looking for an answer.

I'm an experienced game trader etc, but never bothered trading in CSGO items (I've never wanted any expensive stuff other than an occasional 10 cent skin to make me feel special in deathmatch). However, my latest drop lucked me into a ridiculous $400 dollar skin (on Steam market).

What is the best way to unload this for preferably keys or paypal? Should I market it and take the 15% hit, or is there a better website/forum (reddit maybe?) to get fair value in keys / pp so I don't have to take the market fee hit? Figure I might as well ask for a good starting place rather than do all the research from scratch.

Try your luck at CSGO Lounge but you will meet low ballers and those "quicksell" motherfuckers.

The Medusa might end up being like the Dragon Lore once Bloodhound ends in Sept so you might want to keep it.

If you have rep, you can try asking for Paypal instead of keys but those fuckos from you-know-where are probably going to make you go first and the rest is obvious.

It's worth $1000. For ugliest, most destroyed ones.

Also, you Medusa is probably worth more than Market's $400.

Safest way is to market it probably, if its sub-$400. Otherwise try the csgo trading subreddit and/or try to find someone reputable. Csgolounge is a nightmare.

If you're trying to get real money go slow and be careful, you're going to have a million scam attempts. Tbh I wouldnt even recommend doing this, its really risky.

The one you have is battle scarred, it will be pretty hard to sell it.

People usually want Field-tested look or better.

I'm taking that into consideration - only Battle Scarred/ Field Tested are even sold on Market for the max $400, the 'higher' grades aren't even listed there since they go for much more.

Also, apparently for some of the the new weapons like Medusa, field wear doesn't make 'scratches' on the paintjob - it just lowers vibrancy, which is pretty nifty: http://imgur.com/a/M1E8N

You can try to sell it on OPSKins. You can wire money to your PayPal account.
I've done that numerous times.
