Wondering what games you already own from this bundle? There's an extension/UserScript for that! It's called the RaChart™ Enhancer!

This script enhances the charts by showing you which games you already own from the ones in it. If you own it, the row will be highlighted with a green color.

Yes, interesting things on this!
No, these bundle sites are going downhill...
Maybe, I still have a lot of days to think about it...
I don't buy repeats.

Good, only missing two. Got to love these charts :)

I came to see rpg maker's games in this but they don't look so good.
1914's reviews made me laugh.

Doesn't look too much of an idiot now, considering it looks like it wasn't entirely his fault.

The official announcement from the dev.
I have sympathies for everyone who bought the bundle.
The developer is quite nice though, I talked a little bit about the revocation with them. They did it to combat shady bundle sites.

combat shady bundle sites

like whom? Cubic?
DIG most certainly isn't shady.

I do believe Cubic is "the shady one", but apparently it was an ALL of NOTHING deal with the revocation of the keys.

All of Nothing

Only because he didn't manage his keys correctly by either generating for each site separately or taking note himself which he sent where.
There is no excuse for full out revokes of everything, also pointless when replacements get handed out either-way.

But I'm interested to read on what Cubic did once/if he puts up a detailed explanation.

Yeah, me too, only time will tell.
And I agree, that key management is VERY important for an indie dev, no doubt about that.

Revoking all keys from 2 sites though only 1 is allegedly bad is idiotic.

Dev explanation:

I revoked the keys in a panic. I got a message from a friend of mine who asked when the next bundle for my game would be since he missed it. I asked when did you miss it? He said I missed it recently. I asked where from and he said it was on gamehag. I never agreeded to have game hag sell my game or anything like that.

The game will just be free. I will make nothing from it plus I havnt made anything except 3$ from it in the last few months.

Face. Palm. (-‸ლ)

To explain: gamehag buys keys legitimately from DailyIndieGame, for real money.
He actually got fully paid for them by DIG before.
Revoking that is 1000% wrong.

I know. This is bad, this is a PR nightmare. Revoking keys, deleting complaint topics, making the game free. The dev even said they did not care about the bad PR or the game at all, they just wish people would steal from them. So in response from getting stolen from they make the game free.
"Joke": Someone should break into the devs house and steal one of their plants. With the devs logic, they will give away all their belongings away so people can not steal from them again. /joke

Seriously though, there is no good way to spin this.

Valve should have never allowed to a) get every dude who made a tiny crap game onto steam as a "dev", and b) giving devs the ability to revoke keys at all..

I've hinted him that he can ask Valve to reverse the revokes and seems he might at least try that.

That's at least something. But if he really plans on making the game free to play (he already added the Free to Play Tag), having a key will not really matter, as anyone will be able to just get it free.

But I agree, sadly devs from before the new metric did not have their keys revoked. After Steam Direct, there is a limit to how many keys a developer can generate, which limits the need for revoking, I suppose. But I agree, revoking keys should be something you would have to prove to Valve and then Valve would have to confirm it before keys would be able to be revoked. But then that would mean Valve would actually have to do work and everyone knows that Valve does not like that.

Easier to just let "devs" run rampant and claim you are not responsible for them, right? /sarcasm.

free to play .. having a key will not really matter

having a key then still gives +1, cards and stays in library

Valve would actually have to do work and everyone knows that Valve does not like that.

Yeah, Valve in one sentence pretty much.
