That Drakenguard 3 final boss could be a torture method in Guantanamo

I don't recall ever feeling that way about a boss, but maybe my memory is just bad.
If you don't get the responses you are looking for, there have been a few previous threads here about difficult bosses.

Damnation.
I almost wanted to stop playing because of that xD
Died all the time... due to fucked up controls xD Bad PC port I suppose?
And everytime I died... I had to restart from the checkpoint that was way to far to actuall battle.
Like seriously? Who designet it that way?
If there is boss battle - there should be checkpoint right before that battle.. not 2 minutes of walking and riding elevator before boss fight arena xD

Vampyr
Hated the combat in the game. Horrible.. just horrible. I loved the story and setting immensely and tried to enjoy the combat as well.. But once some kind of boss fights came on I was angry as fuck. In the end didn't even finish the game due to this. Which Im really disappointed in as I wanted to enjoy it.
Safe to say Im not the most hardcore gamer so a lot of bosses in games have made me angry. I prefer to have a bit easier playing and enjoy the story more.. but Vampyr is the one that has stayed in my mind

For the most part I thought the Vampyr bosses were just right in terms of difficulty, but the fight in the theater was a real pain for me. It's the only one where I had to leave and go back to doing quests for xp to improve my health and skills.
I was going through the game without feeding on anyone so maybe it was fair to have at least one especially tough boss. It adds some incentive to give in to your vampire nature, I guess

I think I got stuck at a place where it wasnt even a boss fight.
Last I remember I was at a boss fight in the cemetery. Second or third try I got used to the game and eventually did beat it... so maybe I'd agree that the difficulty was rather fine for bosses (if they where alone)
What really made me hate the game was any battle with more then 2 enemies.. Where I got stuck was inside some flat, where there were two vampires and I couldn't even go back for some reason after dying because to get out of the flat I needed to fight the enemies.. and when I die they respawn ... So I was just stuck there. Couldn't even go get some XP in other places..

None yet, I played plenty of hard games but none of the bosses were so frustrating that I'd remember them for years. What was more frustrating to me are some hard af levels. Need for Speed Underground 1 I remember had one of the hardest races I've ever played. The ai would literally cheat to catch up to you so the only way you could win was through dumb luck. Same in Mafia 1 remake, the infamous racing level on classic difficulty is even harder than in the original game, I almost gave up playing the entire game. Evil Within on Akumu difficulty has some really unfair fights, any hit equals death and there are some enemies in a particular chapter that will hitscan you before any normal human can react.

The Guardian in Darksiders 2
You're forced to be on your horse for the fight, and the controls are somehow worse than the first game.Add to that that timing and positioning are key to advance in the fight,it still took me 20 minutes to beat it,on easy after i activated cheats to not take damage from the boss while i was trying to deal with the more "gimmicky" part of the fight.

For me was (laugh as much as you want) Cerberus from DMC 3 PC port; was not enough the awful control scheme, but he was annoying too...

well ... i'd say if you played Shin Megami Tensei III on Hard Type you will most likely remember the Move "Beast Eye" from Mot. When he uses it he will spend a point and get two ... he can use this move as many times as he wants in a round ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6r_b0whA6g as an example

When i had to fight Dante as Nero.
Who thought Dante would turn out to be the biggest baddest boss of DMC beating all other monsters.
(even though it was a friendly duel, he kicked butt)

Final boss in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. I dropped the game at the very end because I was already not into the game and the boss was the final straw.

Well, I'm currently playing the new Cuphead dlc and I'm raging a little bit trying to get the S ranks, I gotta say. The new bosses aren't bad, but there's too much clutter on the screen for most of them. Their attacks aren't as clearly telegraphed as the original bosses' attacks were, and some of the clutter I mentioned is legitimately hard to see with how small it is. It just doesn't feel as fair. If these bosses were in the original game, they would certainly be amongst my least favorites. With that said, still a good dlc and I'm glad I got it and I'm enjoying playing it. One or two bosses are actually just as good as the og ones and the price is great. It just has a much worse ratio of frustration to fun compared to the original game.

I thought I can't say anything, but I can - Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams' final boss.
Nice animation, and the most padded, unfun and punishing gameplay I found so far.
I'm looking forward to playing DS and the others, and just got the Castlevania games, so I reckon there won't be a shortage of bosses in my life :D

The Boos from the original Luigi's mansion. Mind you, I don't mean King Boo, I mean the cluster of a few dozen Boos that you have to fight all at once. I spent so much time fighting through the stupidity of that level, and even after figuring out what I needed to do I still had issues beating it.

Curtis Blackburn. It isn't about him being an annoying or difficult boss, so much as him being a trafficker who brutally harvests the organs of the children he traffics. He's also all sorts of a murderous bastard. Considering all the absurdity of the murder machine he has in his house, there's no telling how he's slaughtered people. And he hangs young girls up on meat hooks in his murder room.
Plus he's trained at least one child soldier.
And he's also headcanoned by many as possibly being a pedophile.
Add to that the fact that his boss battle takes twitch reflexes and can easily be fucked up, and you've got someone that's fun to hate.

Do CS:GO teammates count? Especially Turkish ones.

Inspired by this video my friend sent me yesterday.
Not arguing the video itself, but what are some of those bosses you PERSONALLY feel this way towards?
Also, for your consideration, another small GA by way of a puzzle.
