Agreed.
Also, buying Watch Dogs + all its DLCs on Steam right now, is a better deal than simply buying the Uplay Season Pass for the base game, regardless of it being given for free some time ago on that platform.

As for Zombi, after Dead Island's brilliant CGI trailer, this is my second favorite promotional video for a zombie game

At that price, I just wishlisted this game and am looking at it closely.

What can I expect if I were to purchase this game? Is there some kind of persistent multiplayer (ala Dark Souls) where you can be invaded at any time, because I HATE that concept... I want to play my games in peace, on my own accord, and my own time, without annoying outside forces...

I have had Uplay for years but have never played a game on there.

I think you can safely play and enjoy Watch Dogs without fearing intrusion from other players. And I understand and share your concerns. From my limited experience with the game on the PS3 a few years back, I was just exploring Chicago and doing the story missions. Story is passable but the city is nicely simulated.

Alrighty.

This has been on sale a few times recently, and I've always been sorta looking at it every time, but now is probably the first time I've been somewhat seriously looking at it.

One of my current favorite TV shows is Chicago P.D. and I love that this game allows you to explore Chicago. It would be interesting to compare the portrayal of the city between two different medias.

Interesting indeed. It includes trivia related to real-life locations and landmarks, which is very nice for someone who's never visited even North America yet, nevermind the actual city in which Watch Dogs takes place. Video gaming "tourism" is sort of a hobby of mine, if you will.

Very cool hobby.

I live in the US but I've never personally visited Chicago and can only go by what I see in TV, movies, and so forth.

Watch_Dogs has a menu toggle for invasions, so you should be okay.
For Dark Souls, you can just force-load it in offline mode to block invasions.

I would buy it on steam if it didn't require Uplay to play it... This way I'm just going to pass.

Looks like a fun game, But I have enough zombie games to last an apocalypse. I'm honestly at a loss whether to get this or not
Interesting that SteamDB says this is the lowest price ever...sigh

Not sure? So I give you that: If die,.... you kinda wakeup as another person only with four basic items... and if you go to the place where you died, you will see your old alter ego has turned into a zombie...and if you kill him/her/your old self, you get your loot back

Looks ok-ish, but I'm not sure I would enjoy it that much after having played the excellent Dying Light. Plus having to go back to your old and now zombified self to retrieve your gear seems like a pain in the ass to me.

It's a very good zombie game. Too bad there's a glitch that prevents you from ever finishing the game, and you're 99% likely to get it unless you look it up and keep it embedded in your mind. But even though I got the glitch and never could finish the game, I didn't even get to write a negative review, because I feel like the fun I got from it was worth it. At least the glitch happens near the end of the game, which could be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it.

What really annoys me is how simple the glitch is and how they never got around to fixing it. Apparently it happens even on the original wii u version. What a piece of crap.
