Everything after brotherhood was crap.

If they rush it launch it's bad. And I'd love to see which period are they settling it on. I think that there's no point going further now and you can't go back

fucking fuckity, I'm not gonna pre-order it if it arrives. Gonna wait for performance reviews. AC3 was a total scam for most of the PC players.

The rush isn't always bad - for example, PC versions of last two games featuring Ezio were released in the same year and I enjoyed them both. I belive they didn't allow enough time for III, which explains the bad optimization this game has.
Regarding the second part, that's true. I wonder what will they come up with this time ^_^

I'm conflicted about Assassin's Creed. The story is there to justify all these releases, but the progress between games as far as mechanics is minimal (although I can't speak for AC3 as I haven't played it yet)

It's a probable justifiable case of "If it ain't broke..." because the games are good enough. But still.

Stupid game...

While I was a fan of the Assasin's Creed series (played 1, and god you could do so much in 2 and it was so much awesome, the brotherhood/revelations were just building on ac2), I found playing AC3 unbearable and got at a point where I didn't even have interest nor motivation to even start up the game.

Performance was okay, content was extremely unappealing.

Old news. They said years ago (during the development of AC: Brotherhood) that the franchise will go up to AC 5.

The did a wrong mistake when they decided to make a game per year.

Oh hell no. A game which they made in a year, just like ACR and B? Fuck them!

I Liked all except revelations ... will pre-order it in first day it become available on steam ;)

I hate UBI for Uplay... They murder my lovely Prince Of Persia series... :(

They release a game every year, so the closeness of the release date is nothing abnormal, but so far Brotherhood was the best one

3 was a pretty big let down for me. It was good, it's just not as good as it could have been. The PS3 version was riddled with bugs and tons of slowdown. Revelations was the last really good one for me, even then it wasn't as good as 2 and Brotherhood.
