I would really like Batman and Son. But it would also have to yet again include Talia Al Ghul maybe.

But then again..maybe it would make more sense to do Son of the Demon first. Oh god...I don't know. There are so many great storylines.

Batman and Son mostly contradicts Son of the Demon to the point that Morrison somewhere along the line said that Son of the Demon is now non-canon. Then again, new52 retconned Damian's backstory as well, and I have no idea how the current Rebirth project will rewrite the background of the characters yet again.

I want Daniel Radcliffe to be Jason Todd
And from what i have heard from rumors and stuff Scott Eastwood is playing Dick Grayson

No flashback, just the whole film of Daniel/Jason looking for his mother, found her working with the Joker, and gotten beaten up. Ends with it leading up to the 2nd JLA movie with Infinite Crisis. Followed by Under the Red Hood. It will be like Harry Potter allover again, except the bad guy won.

ISIS will not work with the Joker persona or flow of the film. The Joker is looking to gain protection to keep Batman away from him after killing Robin. Hence Russia.

I like Black Mask, but I fear most average film viewers would just consider him a watered-down Joker rip-off. Especially since Nolan turned Joker into a generic mob boss with a make-up.

Heath Ledger was good imo.Black Mask would be awesome as some crime mafia boss(played by Jude Law perhaps)
Would love a Riddler(Unlike Jim's version but one played by Cillian Murphy
Gorilla Grod is a Flash villain right?
Joker would be nice but he is used in many films and stuff I would love to see a new villain...

Grodd is mostly a Flash villain, yes, but not part of the Rogues. The general public most likely knows him from that JLA cartoon anyway. Plus for a time he really was more of a general menace in the DCU, popping up everywhere.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Mostly doesnt mean exclusively luckily, and even if he was, there is nothing real tying him only to one hero in one place, ive always tought he's a whatever/neutral/any villain, the Joker doesnt have to face off only against Batman, anyone can fight anyone mostly, even Black Mantha can terrorize others instead of Aqua Man = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hw6ISyGyOFs anyway, Grodd is a general menace indeed, his schemes are always huge, since he's smart and all, he aims big, no pun intended, like in that video clip from the episode where he forms a united ape organization combined with his own guys and two more gorrila factions, then taking over Gotham (because its a big deal after all), while Batman is absent cause of him.

I too like him, while not overly too complicated, he's a rough n tough intimidating classy crime boss with a proper attitude and badass apperance/gimmick/style, and if you trow in some opportunities and ideas that would benefit him, you could get some interesting and unique outcomes like you can see in this episode, altough im sure he can be done better. Wh.what??? Average film viewers view him...like a Joker rip off!??! Well thats obviously not true so those people dont know squat and havent even properly seen both of them..., i mean...there are some similarities, sure, but not realy, not realy too similar at all, very duistinghishable, very differently aproaching, i mean...there is a high chance nothing highly spectacular could be done...but then again, if you got the know how, theres always a chance to make something good with simple villains like Black Mask, or maybe im just defendingly rambling...we might see a movie with him but it might take some years... Nolan turned Joker into generic mob boss with a make up...? How? Like, got rid of that funny, loveable, witty, humorus behavior, personality, attitude, bizzare contraptions and ideas and such? W..well..i guess so...nyeah...he ruined The Joker...poorly done for sure, i keep hearing nobody likes that movie that ive not seen but have seen come short clips and..nyeah..kinda seeing what you mean...

Everybody loves that Nolan movie, but recently finally people started to realise something that a few like me said even back then: rename the two main characters to Joe Smith and Jack Jones, ditch the costumes and add everyday clothes, and you will never be able to distinguish it from any action-oriented thriller and tell that it is supposed to be a film about a superhero. It could easily be a Bourne or a Bond movie.
(The stuff that there are no dialogues just people analysing the motivations and actions of themselves and others instead of, you know, talking, is just a small bonus and a little pet peeve of mine.)

They actualy love it!? Wierd, ive seen only haters and just from the few short clips i might be able to kinda barely see why...huh...Joe Smith and Jack Jones...? Cant say ive had the pleasure... mmhm, maybe, maybe they might be like them, if you also ditch the batmobile. Mmhm...probably should just see it, might clear up alot... motivation analysing, no dialogue...? That kinda seems bad.

I don't have the slightest idea. Daniel Radcliffe maybe? xD And I don't say it because of Harry Potter. I wasn't watching Harry Potter movies. But he has a lot of talent, because I've checked the movies he played after the Harry Potter series. Other than him, if Anarky could be played by an older man, instead of a young man, then Hugo Weaving would be the only choice. xD I know though that Anarky is supposed to be a very young man.

Gorrila Grodd is NOT a Flash exclusive villain, his plans and ideas can litearly involve anyone, anywhere, anything, it doesnt have to be Flash or his city that he protects, anything could be done realy, theres a rather good chance for him to be in a movie if anyone is willing to feature him in one, he can be a good villain with a good movie plot. Like, check out the episodes in Batman the Brave and the Bold where he is in, no Flash in sight near him and yet thats perfectly working out fine.

Dont know what DCEU is (im not exactly a compotent DC fan, im too small and casual...) but that sounds nice. Mmhm, Suicide Squad, its all over the internet, constant articles and videos everywhere about it, ive heard its always been a humongus deal in the comics but now finaly a movie? Thats super cool, going to be so actiony for sure. Wonder Woman? Niiice, if she's gonna be like this = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyKXBxK82LE then im gonna seriously look forward to seeing it, if i ever get the chance for it, would realy like to. P.S. its so funny seeing Batman jealous ^w^ Justice League, that might be epic. Whoah. a Aquaman movie?! Hoh...im kinda scared of what they possibly might do with him, thats gonna be something for sure... Flash? Oooh, so there is a movie coming, nice, just read about a Jonah Hex tease in something Flash involved, which is also awesome. Solo Batman? Wonder what they will do with him next time, kinda scared might become a failure again...those guys should realy just bide their time planning a good story realy... Cyborg movie?! Without the other Teen Titans. like a grown up one? Ooooooh, that might be wicked crazy for sure, hah, gonna be good for sure :) another Suicide Squad?? Huh, neat, maybe too soon, but neat. Shazam?! Oh no, no, thats awfull, he's just like Superman :( Shazam, aka Captain Marble, right? Or its two seperate heroes? Anyway, might not be too good but might be more interesting than Superman... Man of Steel 2?! At the same year with Shazam?! Oh no...not looking forward to that...uh, why do they even try.... another Batman and.... Green Lantern Corps!? Oh my gosh, thats gonna be epic :o ! Thats like, such a huge project, theres so much you could do with them for a plot, its gonna be good, i know it will be :) but im always wrong so...who knows, can only wait realy. Wonder if it will have other Lanters, red, yellow, pink, blue, hah, gonna be crazy seeing all the constructs :) wonder if we will see all the wierd aliens seen in the Green Lantern Corps in some of the episodes in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, ive seen people saying they love Guy Gardner, he's a bad boy, id love to see him in that movie too, Batman: tBatB is the only cartoon featuring him as they said. Wonder if we will also see Mogo, hah, would be cool :) but my god....we will be so old by the time all these come out...thanks for letting me know of this huge lineup.

I wouldnt know about him either if it werent for Batman: The Brave and the Bold, HIGHLY suggest you check it out, theres a bunch of freaks in certain episodes im sure you'l like since you mentioned that :) its such a good cartoon, it features so many heroes, villains and stories... but yeah, Equinox, he is very, very interesting and has about...3 episodes of him i think, dont remember, very interesting with his quest and how the universe actualy plays to his favour to create that balance, which is wicked, im glad you like him too :) you can learn a ton about him in the last epsiode he is featured in and can see just how huge threat he can realy be. I see, im glad i was able to introduce you to him, i met and learned of him this way myself ( i love cartoons and i love this Batman cartoon the most, even if i havent seen mostly of any single other ones aside from short clips and scenes), a powerfull villain worthy of a movie role and further apperance in cartoons, something that hasnt realy happened though... Anarky is awesome huh? Check here? Huh....a Batman counterpart the description says??? Just like Owl Man? Interesting....slight bit wierd costume, but is smart, can fight, is tech savy, got gadgets, bit gullable and not as prepared as Batman...hmm..yeah, i kinda like him, i like Anarky, he's good :] wouldnt mind seeing more of him in something, he for sure could cause some good viewing material. He looked beter in...the Batman Game?? I dont know which one, theres alot of those and the only one i played is Adventures of Batman and Robin (which i highly suggest you give it a try if you havent yet, such a good game).

Oh, realy!? Damn, never heard about that, what a quaint suprise, huh...neat. SNES? Oh no, this game is for the Sega Genesis, a better console than the SNES, but you didnt get to play it...ah...huge shame, youve missed out alot my friend. If you wish to play it, there are emulators for it, or if you dont want to bother with that, just play it from a website then, incase youre interesting, which i hope you cause the game is realy good, hard, but good = http://game-oldies.com/play-online/adventures-of-batman-robin-the-sega-genesis awesomely convient right :) ? Played Dune: The Battle for Arrakis on this perfectly. And if you type Batman in the search bar, you will see that there is actualy a Sega CD version and a SNES version, huh, interesting... all three look quite different from eachother, might be worth a play for each of them. Theres alot of other great old games you can check out on this site :) not all exist on this site but alot of good ones are present, just so you know.
An....extremist? Aka, a sabotuering rebel...? Not sure... a ''good'' villain? As in, wants to do good but it isnt that good and tries to achieve that good in a bad way? Huh...neat. Thats good stuff.

Hush could be done in 110-140 minutes. Long Halloween is a story that is typically best for a Netflix/HBO series. Death in the Family was only shocking because it was the first time someone close to Batman actually died; apart from that few-page shock value, it really isn't anything interesting. Under the Red Hood is similar, it had one trick, the real identity under the new mask, otherwise it was a standard "I'm a new enemy and totally badass for the first six issues I am in, then I'm just a generic nobody who didn't really do anything" one.

Court of Owls could be a good one, I just don't know how much average film viewers would like a story where literally every casually said sentence is actually a carefully constructed element of a decade-old thirty-layer conspiracy centuries in the making, where really even mundane things as how someone wears jewelry can be later twisted into some kind of epic foreshadowing. Great story, really great story, but only if you like conspiracies cranked up to 11 on a 1 to 5 scale.

As for others… most of Paul Dini's Detective Comics stories could have merit. Maybe for a really ballsy director, like Burton 20 years ago, Morrison's Arkham Asylum.

But in the end, I'd still say Hush. Yes, it is as mainstream and commerce as a Batman story could get, and it mostly sold itself with Jim Lee's art, but it had a good pacing, good cast used well, and a mystery that was relatively easy to figure out but had a great pacing from start to finish. Ideal for an action movie with some plot in it.

But Under the Red Hood won't be that bad if it was made...
But yeah HUSH is awesome!!
Court of Owls is really good but the general audience aint gonna like it(its got a bit of politics involved and Affleck directed Argo which was a political thriller)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

A "bit" of politics? It is practically Every Conspiracy Thriller Twist You Ever Saw: The Story. As I said, great story, but Snyder really loved setting up conspiracy upon conspiracy upon conspiracy and counter-counter-counter-conspiracies all the way. And people said Morrison's run was going over the top of how Batman and Hurt's plans that were decades in the making went over the top. (Still, Morrison mostly failed because he tried to write Batman like he did Doom Patrol. Batman & Robin v1 kicked ass though, especially that short starting story with Quitely.)

Under the Red Hood was made into an animated movie, by the way, and it wasn't really good. Although that stemmed mostly from not knowing who it was made for. At one point Jason was totally badass, mass-killing mobsters, five minutes later he delivers an 80s Saturday morning cartoon levels speech about how drugs are bad and people shouldn't sell them.
Also, don't forget that the latest Arkham game tried to base itself on that story as well. Admittedly, it did a horrible job at it (sadly it really showed that Dini left the project and the new writer was a game designer and not someone who centers his story around a plot and characters, rather he built it around levels and game gimmicks), so it would be triple-redundant within a decade.

Allstars Batman & Robin.
Apparently the Frank Miller version of Batman was the main inspiration behind this new movie version of Batman anyway, and besides that it should be fun to have Ben Affleck deliver the immortal quote: "What, are you dense ? Are you retarded or something ? Who the hell do you think I am ? I'm the GODDAMN BATMAN"

Failing that, Batman Odyssey.

All Star Goddamn Batman and Dick Grayson, Age Twelve as the ultimate Batman B grade trash movie that hipster critics will totally have to take seriously as a masterpiece because they cannot acknowledge how terrible it is? That could be fun. :D
But first somebody probably should write an ending for it. Or, more precisely, a middle and an ending since the published ten issues managed to almost finish setting up the actual plot before it could began.

....yeah, they probably would like him more, an singing villain is bizzare and maybe would have worked better in the old days with the old movies..but i still have faith in whoever produces if they give good enough effort towards his character and plot around him. Glad to hear you think Vigilante is a badass, he's quite underrepresented for what im seeing. Mmhm, dangerous but can be negated with anything that blocks noise, which Batman has in that short clip of a episode i showed. Dark psychology indeed as he is quite smart in what he wants to work towards to and the way he does it and such from the hard youth he had as he has no brawn. General audience is gonna hate it, him, even though everyone who watches the cartoon loves him...? Geez...well... most likely so, a high chance for a hating failure for sure considering what idiot directors we have in the movie buisness these days that focus more on effects and broken logic than anything else... yes, sad but true, thus the small hope..diminishes...damn...well..thanks for your insight atleast...

I don't think that bigwigs at Warner would put their money for del Toro's experiments. Unfortunately, they want safe and ironclad profits (in other words - another mainstream movie).

WB have a lot of movies planned for DCEU,so they may get del Toro for one ...

Hmm according to the Wiki page I've only seen Argo directed by him which to be fair was rather good. Although I may now have to watch I Killed My Lesbian Wife, Hung Her on a Meat Hook, and Now I Have a Three-Picture Deal at Disney...

Seems that BvS was already based on so many sources, but I thought the Frank Miller adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns was strong. I wouldn't mind seeing that arc. But, then again, the fight already happened. Grumpy Batman as it were.

The Killing Joke.
But, swap Dick Grayson for Ben Affleck

Uh,Killing Joke did not have Dick Grayson as Batman,it was Bruce Wayne
I think u mixed it up with Black Mirror

Actually, I meant "A Death in the Family", and I meant Jason Todd instead of Dick Grayson.

My vote would be some sort of hybrid of The Killing Joke. Imagine the scene when Bats finally sits beside Joker laughing about his asylum joke. ;_;

I was just half serious :P
taking into consideration the choice of actors for the last movie, its not how much money they have, these are all good actors that accept rather medíocre roles, such is the case with Bridges. Ford on the other hand, wouldnt just accept these roles, not at this point of his cáreer

I'd personally like to see something done with no-man's land, as that was one of the few modern batman stories that I enjoyed.. I don't know how well that would translate to a film

I guess under the red hood has already been done
If i remember correctly, The Killing joke is good material for a origins story, i would prefer a self contained story like that, offcourse thats not how WB does things

I would like to see something pre-"Death in the Family" that introduces the Jason Todd character, then they can do "Death in the Family" as a follow-up. I'd also like to see Killer Croc and/or Clayface make their overdue Batman film debuts.

in this comic they imply soooo many things (i think they say that Martha and Alfred had an affair when he returned from SAS or something, cant remember well been ages since i read it) . I mean the Waynes are practically gangsters killing people and sh!t! I loved it. It's really dark! :)

I want them to redo Batman V Superman but properly this time.

Anyway I voted Court of Owls because it's amazing.

I'd rather see a movie version of Loeb's Supergirl storyline from Superman/Batman v1 (the one Michael Turner drew) instead of a redo of the current film. It could even fit to a movieverse after they introduce Darkseid.
