Hi all,

2 years ago I have been banned from this site due to scamming which I did on dota 2, yes I admit that indeed I scammed 2 or 3 people for left 4 dead 1 and 2 because I had no other option to get a game (paypal wasn't available at my country at that time). I also have a scammer tag tag on steamrep and I'm happy because of it, therefore if I'm ever going to think of a scam, people can see on steamrep that I got a scammer tag and get away from me. A few days ago I saw on some news that steamgift is being reworked and I was happy to see a further development of it, hence I logged today and saw that my ban was lifted due to new site and because probably database of banned members wasn't transfered. Because of that after spending a years being banned I finally realized the scale of work/pressure I put on the steamgift staff with my stunts and attitude I had pulled over the years and realize I was very in the wrong, After much consideration, I believe I can redeem myself greatly and become a part of the community again, I posted this because I don't want to shady visit this site being afraid of ban at any moment, therefore if staffs doesn't agree and don't want to accept me, please put a ban on this account.

PS:- I never scammed a single member from this site. The place where I scammed people was www.playdota.com back to 2011 when my country didnt have a PayPal (Serbia). (Paypal was added at middle of 2013)

Also I apologize if I made grammar mistakes, but posting this from tablet since I'm not at home at the moment.

Thank you.

How was that even a GA option?

Because it was manually added to the database of games to be given away. Battlefield 3 is another non-Steam example.

Nicely done, you should buy a copy of Left for Dead 1 and 2 and give it away here. For redemption :p

Ugh, talk is cheap.
Not only that but either you're lying to us now or you lied to SR in one of your many futile ban appeals.
Which one is it, you got scammed by that guy or you scammed him, or was it your kid like you mentioned when asked to refund the victim, or was your account hijacked for a couple years like you claimed in another post or who knows whatever other excuses you've used to get your steam trade ban lifted.
If you're really sorry and weren't just trying to clear your rep you would have reimbursed the guy which you explicitly refused to do when asked by SR staff.

It's a shame valve lifted your trade ban if you ask me.

Konyo has a point. True repentence is demonstrated by trying to remedy past mistakes, not ignoring them. If you are truly sorry, show us your sincerity by doing what you can to make it up to those you hurt.

Once a scammer, always a scammer.
There is Paypal in his country available for years.
I see u got some hefty AAA Titles some of us can only dream of.

What can i say... redeem yourself, and give to those u scammed, untill then u have no right to apologize in my opinion....

While I agree with Khalaq on this matter, I just want to point out that PayPal isn't available in our country 'for years'. It just started operating here a few months ago, and in limited capacity (you can't receive money, only send it).

Apologies are always welcome, more when it can be used to check what happened and try that other banned users aren't able to come back :)

Fool me once... Well we all know how the saying goes...
But since you didn't fool ME I say yay (with reservations) so go ahead and prove you have learned since then.

Welcome back to the civilized world. ;)

You claim there was no way to get a game, so you scammed. Then you say Paypal wasn't available yet in your country as your REASON for scamming. I'm sorry, but that contradicts itself. You can't say you were willing to BUY a game on Paypal when you weren't even willing to TRADE for it without trying to defraud and steal from people (no other option??? WTF YOU THINK TRADING IS FOR???)

So I don't buy it. You just lied in your attempt to APOLOGISE for what you've done...

Show proof that you've reimbursed every person you ever scammed (even those you think others aren't aware of) and that would be the only post you need. No lying "apology" post necessary.

Sorry, but I will not refund for something which happened 3 years ago to anyone. My apologize goes to the staff members of this site for making mess and accusing yatterman (past staff member) for abusing and spamming this site, not to people from playdota who wanted to profit from me by getting a dota 2 gift which worth over 60 euro for 10 euro gift, so it's their fault as well as much as mine.

Have you redeemed yourself yet? Choose some games from each of your 3 victims' wishlist and gift it to them.

I think if all your victims have forgiven you after you bought them their wishlist games will be a good indicator that you have redeemed yourself.

To protect yourself and prevent thieves from profiting do not trade with scammers. Players shouldn't be encouraged to steal. Supporting them can hurt your reputation.

Square things up with the people you scammed, if you want to make a proper apology. Actions are what makes an apology genuine.
