What would I need Smartwatch for?

I mean... I am pretty green with this topic. I don't really know what they are for.

Okay, You can link them to the phone and can see the clock, messages, mails... that's it? Can they do something more cool or I shall pay 300$ just for an addon for my phone, that does pretty nothing?

Please, prove me wrong. I would like to know if smartwatches have some really useful features. Cause remote control for my smartphone is not worth that money.

So the question is: what could smartwatch do?

I think about buying Samsung Galaxy Watch 46mm Silver If I see this one useful for me.

PS I ride a bike, use Google Pay, so it could be useful for paying or checking things while being on a bike. But what else?

I got a $90 one on gearbest, it's a Xiaomi or Mi for short. Basically they are kinda like APPLE but Chinese. I like it, it's pretty low on the smart watch tier but for $90 I feel like I got way more value then going out for a $150+ that would do the same thing. I can link it if asked but I won't cause rules? That or PM me on steam.

I also got a Mi phone which I love. So shrug to each their own. I don't see the need o buy "name brand" if the quality is there, just do your research.

I rather not. I mean... I think it wasn't good idea to ask people in the first place. They are always anti-helpful and I am demotivated instead of getting an answer. Also I was insulted plenty of times because I dare to ask a simple question that was above comprehension of many of users here. So I just delay my choice to far future. Maybe I will buy, maybe I won't, who knows. But I don't really care anymore.

I myself would be pretty satisfied with the current features, but I can't bend my mind over charging my watches, idk call me old, but I want my watches to lasts over a year lol
