Not at all, just read it up somewhere. You do get some insight throughout the game, but the story is as over the top as you might imagine, so you're not missing much.

Heya!
I just bought the Just Cause collection from Square Enix. I have previously played the demo of Just Cause 2 and it seemed pretty hilarious, so I decided to finally buy the whole package. Anyways, is it important (or recommended) to play the first game first, if looking the series from a story perspective?
