I still need to buy Skyrim and play it :(, bought Portal 2 on sale from a week ago. The best game I played last year would have to be Dead Island, yes there were gliches, but non the less had a great time playing it on xbox until RROD :(

You're forcing me to choose between Deus Ex, The Witcher 2, Portal 2, Skyrim, and Skyward Sword? I really can't do that.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution by far. Every other game was leagues below it (not that they were necessarily bad).

how about instead of goty we do different like best gfx best style best story all that good jazz because otherwise everyone will say either Skyrim/Batman AC/Deus Ex or BF3/MW3 (if they are stupid)

In all seriousness, I'd say Portal 2 was my favorite.

portal2 for me I think as I love a game where killing your friends has never felt so satisfying

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. I loved Skyrim, but from the whole TES series, it was the most boring one.
