Do you prefer to restrict your " High Value Giveaways " like AAA titles or non-bundle games to higher Cont-levels or Whitelist-only or not ?

Sometimes I prefer to leave it up to contributors, but not necessarily higher levels.

It's hard not to make high leveled GAs nowadays because there seems to be a lot of abusers and regifters. I prefer my games to go to a well deserved home. Then again, it's just my opinion.

The highest value game I've ever given away had no CV restriction whatsoever. The second highest was only level 1. So I guess the answer to your question would be, uh, "not."

Bump. I am not addict to making giveaways.
Yes, I will make some restrictions for high value games.
The main reason is there are too many accounts and most of them are not helpful. The scripts also makes things worse.
Also, high level is not really useful. If you really take look on mid/ high level givers, there are some of them keep giving in group less than 10 people to accumulate CV.

Well the only GA I had a problem with so far was level 3...
it reduces the chances of any problem happening, but you're never really safe

For public GAs I generally set a level restriction between 2-4, but it doesn't really depend of the value of the game, but of which level I feel like setting at the moment I create it.
For invite only GAs that I post in the forum, I don't post any restriction (except my train which was 1-3).

I intend to do a decent whitelist GA a bit after the summer sale, and a descent Train/event thang around the same time in the discussions with the more wanted games as higher CV levels. I recently have been winning a lot of games, and was addicted to giving for a while to keep my ratio less than 1-2 it's 1-3 now, but i won't have money to give for a bit. I'm saving most of the rest for the event however at this point.

Well, if I'm able to make a GA I make them public and require at least lvl1 just because it's not that hard to achieve lvl1 so I assume that people who enter my GAs are not complete leechers. So far I didn't have problem with demanding or dumb people, just one beggar who wasn't able to join my lvl1 restricted GA and kindly asked me on Steam if I have one more copy just for him because he wants that. >_<U
I enjoy creating GAs, it's really fun if I can give something to other people and make them happy even if I can offer mostly bundle leftovers.

The music is nice, i like listen epic music occasionally.

I very rarely offer valuable giveaway (i try offer enjoyable little games). The two times it happened was not big AAA and i prefered no restriction, because it was with the intention of giving to a person with limited means. So level restriction would have been a non-sense here. More level restriction would have exclude the poorest.

I liked bf1942 and ghost recon aw1 music. It's not extremely good music but think it can be considered as "epic".

G.R.A.W. [Music] - Menu Theme

Really nice music !. Im sure id played GRAW 1 but it seems i forgot about its soundtracks !

Battlefield 1942 theme

when the music started to play, I told myself, it`s really looks like BF3 main theme in some ways So it seems this music have an old history in bf series !

Yes sometimes theme is a sort of label of the serie. As morrowing/skyrim or bf theme.

That is a very nice musical piece you posted. And thanks for the giveaway! ^_^

As for restrictions, I do think the system is fair, because you can get to a decent level with very little. I mean, I am level 3 and piss-poor. I still put some of my money into this to reach it and with some good sales, I managed it in such a short amount of time. So I believe even the poorest who can afford to even play games on a computer and have internet can at least get to lvl 2 fairly quickly.

So yes, my valuable games would get a lvl and perhaps whitelist restriction. Since I am poor, I will likely pay what is a hefty amount of money to me for those games and I want them to go to people who give a damn about them and about other users.
