So... The new Call Of Duty isn't doing to well. basically everyone I talk to hates it, and as I post this, there are over 1.8 million dislikes on the video. But everyone loves the idea of Call of Duty 4 Remastered. I never was a huge call of duty fan myself, but I did like the local multiplayer on it. Why do you think the new CoD trailer is getting a lot of hate? I personally don't like futuristic fps', and seeing as Call of Duty has released several futuristic games, I think everyone is just growing old of that genre for CoD.

would you get the new CoD for the remastered version of modern warfare?

NO!!! Not if I have to buy infinity wars XP If it ever comes out seperately, yes.
Yes! I love the look of CoD 4, remastered! I will buy infinity wars for the CoD 4 remake!
Nope. No all the way.
I like the look of infinity wars...

Battlefield 1 slaps in the face of new CoD.

Note: I didn't think of this for the old games.

It looks like the COD franchise bent over and HaloBro and DestinyBro took turns having their way with it. This is the love child of that money grab.

Thing is what is the point of spending £60/$80 on a 9 year old game, which includes only 10 out of the 20 multiplayer maps.

Infinite Warfare in my opinion looks ok, but I really do understand the hate, we want games more like Battlefield 1, a game based in the past, not going too far in the future. Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3 are both very mediocre, they are the 2 only future warfare games (Ghosts wasn't) and seeing as they haven't been too successful, it should be obvious that we want Modern Warfare like games or better yet, games like World at War/Black Ops 1.

I suspect Battlefield 2143 would be well received by the public if it were made.

maybe it's time to drop old franchises and start a new one, with fresh ideas.

no... better to keep milking the same name over a decade.

It's funny I bet they woulda make COD4 remastered one day come out by itself, but with people hating IW, I imagine they are going to doubledown to force people to buy IW to get COD4RE because they maybe are scared it will only do 8 million copies instead of 10 million.

I think its just popular to bash COD games, it started with ghosts or MW3. I'm surprised that battlefield 1 is so praised considering battlefield 4 had issues at launch, nobody talks about hardline and battlefront is considered mediocre in terms of gameplay and content, but that's a star wars game so I don't know if it counts.

As for COD4 remastered only being available with infinite warfare, that is clever (from a money maker point of view). People complain but they will still buy the game(MW2 boycott steam group).

CoD IW > CoD4:Remaster > BF1 for me. Yes, unlike others, I do like CoD and every new experience with this franchise. :) CoD4 is just a bonus and BF1 will just have boring gameplay as always. Just you know, people have different opinion, like it or not.

They want to make COD a yearly deal, though even when spread out over 2 or 3 years they where not that good how good would they be yearly? It would just be another sports franchise with minor tweaks and updates to the roster for 59.99.

I just do not get how some only play just shooters i mean how does someone not get bored of the same thing every day?Or am i the only one that can only play a game so long before i have to do something else as i get bored even if i love the game. Also i stopped caring about online shooters when they allowed jumping and watered down game play and the health regen is the worse.

Most who play those games now have no skill because they take little skill to master.I remember back when your choices matter because health pickups where the only thing that healed you not hiding behind cover, also you could not spam the jump button because there was none and they need it to have stamina. How can i take something like CS-GO serious when you can simply jump around to avoid bullets.

Also in what world can you jump and still shoot and kill things,no way in real life you could jump and roll around and still kill things,i am not looking for 100% real but if i am going to take a shooter serious it better be a serious shooter.Arma II imo still the best shooter,no lone wolfs,no rambo shit,no regenerated health, you survive by working as a team or die lots of deaths for trying to be a hero.

P.S they are making the COD remaster Pre Order only because they know lots will buy it just for that and either way they get a sale,as launch sales are the most important.

Bf1 doesn't look amazing, I love tge battlefield series, but I dont see what's so great about. Infinite warfare looks about as interesting as any other AAA, I don't understand the backlash. I would get both infinite Warfare and cod 4 remastered, but not at $80.

Desert Combat mod for Battlefield, and CoD 4 MW were the last ones I played in each series. I'm not interested in throwing money away every year on an increasingly desperate franchise pumping out cash cows. Same goes for all the "sportsball 20xx" games.

Honestly, imho, I think that there are several reasons why people hate the new CoD, but I think a big factor is that there is a good size actual hate group, but then people just hate on it because its "The Thing". I like the look of battlefield 1, but I think it's the same idea. there is a good size like group, and then a ton of people like it because it's "The Thing". Thanks for all the comments, I enjoy reading other people's opinions! :D

(P.S. I agree with jackfrags' video he posted the other day, and his analysis on why there is a lot of hate. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOHZbM7dCbo)
