And minimum is 20GB. Do they own stock in Western Digital or something? "This game will run much better if your hard drives are bigger than they need to be!"

It was an extremely good game, not my favourite though. They could have added skippable cut scenes :P

There's nothing wrong with it, just surprised :0 I'm actually glad that they actually made the game playable on a weak GPU :)

people hate on this card (intel chip) alot but it can actually perform relatively well all things considered im running far cry 3 on it atm not at max but does the job :)

intel hd 3000 is horrible. It's actually very bad. Yes its good for lowest quality possible, but no

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Isn't it kind of dependent on how good your CPU is? Like it would work better with an i7 than i5?

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

yes my HD3000 is with a i5 runs alot of new games fine not many at max but does the job

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Granted I agree its not amazing but i can run alot of newer games with ease high textures and a combination of medium and lows for the more fancier settings, this is with a i5 btw. I would highly recommend any other card over it but at the same time its not as bad as you think.

Thats pretty amazing. 3000/4000 are pretty decent for what they are and this gives me hope that the game scales back well.

1 decade ago

They are a lot better than they use to be... on a 3rd Gen PC. However, personally still wouldn't use it myself.

I always run things on my nVidia card, but when Borderlands started giving me issues on nVidia, I tried it on my Intel HD 3000 card just for the heck of it. The game ran surprisingly well with everything maxed out except shadows and anti-aliasing. I didn't even try turning those up because the game looked and ran pretty well without them.

I am below recommended for once.. I have an AMD Radeon HD 6670, intel quad-core q7700(I think that was its number at least.. maybe it was the 6600) 2.4Ghz and 4GB Memory.. I need a hardware upgrade :(

You just need to update your GPU. 3870 is quite a bit more powerful. Get a 7850. Powerful card for only 200.

Sounds... like a good port. High resolution textures and such. How knows though, the game just might run like bananas.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Port? Screw crappy ports... according to the the developer BioShock Infinite will not be a port in any way! yay pc ftw :D

1 decade ago
Permalink

Developers like to talk. The game can still run like donkey. I remember the original Bioshock had it's problems at well?

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I remember the original Bioshock and it ran smooth and fine, well polished, zero bugs/glitchs for me... I believe it's your pc that might be running like a donkey? Time to upgrade your graphics card / system?

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I wasn't a PC gamer when Bioshock was released, I only remember reading about it. And, uh, my PC exceeds the recommended requirements but that doesn't mean anything, unfortunately. Unfortunately.

1 decade ago

I had a sound issue for a while...but it was ok besides that.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Like he/she said Bioshock infinite will not be ported, they are making it like in Battlefield 3, the pc game its totally different from the console and it will have some exclusivities(not in the story and content, but in the engine of the game and other things on)

1 decade ago

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I never go by requirements. Although I'm sure my 3570k/680 will have no trouble, but what do these requirements even suggest? Does minimum just mean they can start the game and it'll "run" regardless if you're getting 5 fps at all lowest settings? Does recommended mean you'll get 30 fps at max settings at 1080p? Or 60 fps @ 1080P, or another resolution, or varying settings? Too much gray area.
