Was just wondering if the humble monthly games give me 100% CV as of their steam store price cause I couldn't see any (*) while giving away. While coming to bundled games, does it matter how many times a game has been bundled? Does the percentage of CV reduce if a game gets bundled again and again?

It depends on the discount. If the discount for the entire bundle is more than SteamGifts' threshold, then those games will be added to the bundle list.

Once a game is bundled, it's value will not drop unless the game is given away free.

Also bear in mind that if a game is bundled, it may not appear as bundled straight away, but it's value will be retroactively reduced once it is added to the bundle list.

To be precise: the game itself getting bundled normally doesn't put it on the 'reduced CV'-list, but rather the discount amount: If the total retail value of games in a bundle is about ~90-95% higher than the price of the bundle itself, the games' CV will get reduced. Since most bundles reach that, it has since become more a figure of speech to call all games with reduced value bundled. The number of times a game has been bundled doesn't change their value whatsoever, only if it has been or not.

Regarding the HB monthly, most of the time they are excluded from that rule since the total retail value of the games compared to the cost of the bundle itself doesn't hit that ratio. As far as I remember, HB monthly games getting 'bundled' only happened once so far (Aug 2017). Also keep in mind that putting games on the 'reduced CV'-list happens retroactive and manually, so there are some exceptions/delay.

A question, I have game from last to last monthly whose grey market value is less than $1 atm but is $20 @ steam. I don't see any "*" in front of it. Will it's CV be $20?

Depends how long it takes to see them added to the bundled list, sometimes it's a matter of hours, sometimes it takes a few weeks. Any sort of grey market price doesn't influence if it gets reduced or not, only the price on Steam or from official resellers like Humble or Fanatical.

Any sort of grey market price doesn't influence if it gets reduced or not,

I recall Shobo mentioning that it's actually based on the quantity of the promotion, regardless of source, and the expectation of it being exploited. That- and the difficulty of keeping track of such sites- is likely more why we don't see it from unofficial sources as often, rather than any intentional policy of exclusion.

If the MSRP of the Monthly is lower than 240$, then they are not considered bundled.

No, only games given away after the game was bundled receive reduced CV.

If you give away a non-bundled game, the only way to receive reduced CV is if the game's base price is reduced in the Steam store.

To be specific, the date of the (bundle) discount is the "cut-off" date.

I always though it reduces your CV. Since I saw a lot of post about that (and even I lost a lvl at one point).
But you are saying it is not retroactive.. So now I am confused how did I lose a lvl then?

It IS retroactive... up to the date the bundle appeared.

So you give it away at the 10th, gain full CV
Bundle starts at the 11th
You give it away at the 12th again, gain full CV
Game gets added to the bundle list at 13th with date 11th

GA from the 10th stays at full CV, GA from the 12th is reduced to bundled value.

But, it's retroactive, i mean, the game was bundled on 10 january, you gave it away on 15 january and received full cv, it was added on the bundled list, so you will lose the CV. But if you gave it away before 10 january, your CV will be safe <3
