Completely new to console gaming: Playstation

I have started my adventure with ps4 a few months ago and I can recommend to you inFamous Second Son, Until Dawn, Ratchet & Clank, Marvel's Spider-Man, and Uncharted series

I have played every single ps exclusive on PC with psnow pc, so I am not sure if there is any absolutely non-pc

Bloodborne is definitely one of the better exclusives. One exclusive people keep forgetting is Street Fighter V, it may not be the best game for you, but for trying it out, especially if you played Street Fighter 2 in past this is really good game to mess up for a little bit

Gran Turismo 6, but unfortunately that's a PS3 exclusive.

Playstation exclusives are slowly being released on PC, so while the situation is not as serious as on xbox, i am fairly certain that most exclusives will end up outside of playstation at some point, just gotta have patience and see Sony come out of the closet.

Must play imo:
-Bloodborne (possibly my number 3)
-God of war (number 1 game for me on playstation right now, since release day)
-god of war 3 remaster (it's a ps3 port to ps4 with better quality, you can play the older titles via psnow subscription i believe, which is a streaming games service, so you need a decent connection, alternative is to buy a ps3 and buy the older titles, i think they ported most god of war games to ps3 with collections, it can be hard to find physical copies at decent prices though)
-The last of us 1 + dlc
-Uncharted collection + 4 (lost legacy kinda sucks tbh, but might be worth playing it if you end up enjoying uncharted)
-Persona 5 (any edition except strikers, i have no clue how strikers feels because i skipped that, but the turn based P5 is GREAT, i have the first edition with all dlc included and it's one of my favourite games, i would put it at number 2. You should aim for the royal version, it has extra content and plot and got even better score than the original version that i played. Game as good artstyle, good plot, good music, it nails everything good imo)
-dreams (can get your mind blown)
-Ghost of Tsushima
-knack 1 and 2, kid games but they are quite fun tbh, they also have co-op
-the order 1886, alot of people hated the game for being too short or too cinematic, i played the game like 3 years ago, bought it cheap and it was very worth the money. Good plot, good visuals, a very unique experience and theme. For 60-70 bucks, i would not recommend it, but at 20 bucks or lower, it is worth it.
-knowledge is power, a good game to play with family or friends
-that's you, same deal for family and friends
-demon souls on ps5, i did not play this because i do not have a ps5, but it is on my must play list once i get a console (i'm waiting for a ps5 pro, if not, then i'm waiting for price drops, because the price increase is something i do not support)

Other potential exclusives that are good, but you might not like it:
-spiderman (both games), repetitive games, it feels great for a couple of hours but the experience is almost the same as the game progresses forward;
-the last of us 2, great gameplay, great scenario, great visuals, i bloody hate the plot though;
-horizon zero dawn, good plot but the game felt too repetitive for me and some other people, specially the gameplay;
-days gone, i liked this game in general, i would even put it on must play, but some people consider it repetitive. I did not find it as repetitive as spider man or horizon. Days gone for the most part, suffers from some bugs and lack of interisting visuals for the most part, there are some good looking areas or scenes, but not on a similar scale to other exclusive titles from Sony;
-Infamous games on ps4, they aren't bad, but they also aren't on the same quality scale as most other exclusives;
-Driveclub, game looks amazing, but i hate the driving, it's a bit too arcadey for me, somewhat similar to NFS games, where cars start drifting when you don't want them to during turns;
-GT sport, game also looks amazing, this game is mostly focused in online play, the single player portion is really boring and lacking, the driving feels weird at times but there are some elements to the game that feel great like the wind slowing down your car and making your car shake;
-killzone shadowfall, probably the weakest exclusive, it's still worth giving it a shot, game looks somewhat good and gameplay is nothing too impressive but still good;
-Little big planet 3, played it for a while but i didn't like it that much, still worth checking out as alot of people enjoy the game;
-ratchet and clank, alot of people like this franchise, i did not enjoy it as much as knack, which is somewhat similar. Key difference is that ratchet and clank is more based on gadgets and techy stuff while knack is more straight forward, knack gave me a few laughs during co-op because of some silly animations or gameplay mechanics while in co-op, ratcher is a solo game from what i know
-the last guardian, did not play it, but alot of people say it's good
-medievil, a classic ps1 game remade for ps4, it's a goofy sort of game, but feels good
-Untill dawn, still haven't played these but i do plan on doing so, people speak well of these games
-wipeout omega collection, classic pod racer remade for ps4, if you fancy these kind of games
-shadow of the colossus, played it for a while but got extremelly annoyed with the camera angles and gameplay during one of the fights to the point i rage quitted the game, game looks good for a remake and feels somewhat unique, but do be prepared to see potentially annoying things in the game that can be frustrating, and i'm not the kind of person that gets frustrated that easily in games unless it is mindless grinding

There might be some games not being mentioned, but the majority that is worth mentioning should be there. I skipped VR titles since i never played VR on ps4.

got a ps5 a few months ago, mostly playing the games that came with the ps5 (like ratchet and clank, horizon zero dawn) as this will already take up some time i did not started checking alot of other games, but ghost of tsunami is on my wishlist :)

did bought myself everybody's golf wich is a nice game to play (both solo as online with friends or coop with a second player at home)

I'm not a console player so I really can't contribute to the list. However, my s/o is and from what I can tell from his library that I know for sure isn't on PC would be the God of War series.

As far as claiming to be old, I'm assuming your Commies and Amigas weren't without a modem. What was your first modem's baud rate?

Am new to console gaming too. bought Xbox X on rls, i played on it like 3/4h since ever (and have prepaid 2 year pass). Didnt started it for 6 months. I love consoles :D

Just finished the last of us (first one) and loved it. Great if you like a good story.
