Interesting game.
The gun animation is a little annoying, in how it flips around after every shot.
Kinda cool for the shotgun/rifle, as it can add some lag that balances out the power of the weapon. But why also have the same thing happen for a handgun?
Would be cooler if the character only twirled the handgun, when staying in one spot for more than 3-5 seconds. Should be no lag for firing off a few quick shots, and then a short lag for reload. Maybe add a reload function, that triggers the twirl animation?
Anywho, cool game, that i bet took a ton of effort. Cool if you're coming to a stopping point with it, and calling it finished. But if games like Terraria and Minecraft are any example, adding polish on the regular, can increase interest, and thus sales and profit.

I like not having a traditional reload in this because it feels more arcadey and old-schoolish. When I needed a hint that you can shoot again I remembered that scene from Terminator 2 and said to myself "Let's go over the top" :D
If it turns out that the "reload spin" is unpleasant for some, I might add an option to turn it off (or choose something different).
Thank you for your comment!

I honestly like it. I also really like caramel flavor. But that doesnt mean i want it all the time.
It just seems done a little much.
It makes sense with a single barrel shotgun, or bar action reload rifles, but not for handguns. Handguns you spin while your goofing around, not while you're shooting.
Games are fantasy worlds, so you can do anything you want, but balance with anything is key, and it's often easier to add more to gain the right result, than subtract.
But i'm just a critical consumer and at least twice your age. Never made a game, or know how much effort it would take to make any of my suggested changes. Also makes alot of sense to collect a bunch of feedback when planning out potential updates.

Hi, I'd like to show you my little video game I have been working on for the last couple of months – Cavimilation.
It began its life as my school project hence it did spend almost no time on the drawing board, but I still think there is fun to be had!
Cavimilation is a platformer/shooter "high score chasing" game with procedurally generated levels and minimalistic visuals.
You try to gain the highest score possible by exploring an endlessly generated cave, collecting treasure, and defeating enemies. You can compare scores with your friends on steam leaderboards.
You can check out the store page here. I'm gonna add a Cavimilation giveaway here after the release.
Thank you for reading,
