Just won a giveaway for the first time. Got a key through email. How/Where do I get the game?

activate the key on steam...it goes straight to your game library

Activate product on the menu drop down.

Add the key through steam. Read the steam FAQ for more info.

Redeem the key that you've got on your mail through steam.

wait for the key and dont add the person right away because it's rude... have patience he'll send the key on your email

Should I know how to activate a key without the game? O_o I don't think I've ever done that. I just buy ---> install ---> play.
