Thank you for the ride, Msboring! :D
Have a good day too and it's 26Β°C here and that's hot for the time of the year here in the coastal region of Belgium but then again for me these are just signs of climate change.
If you like Narwhals then beware of evil stepmothers.^^

The weather prediction for Monday is the same here: 10+ degrees less than now. Is it King's day already, the day that the Netherlands turns completely in orange, masses of people in the streets and a lot of parties and beer. Even with colder temperatures have fun there. :-)

Yeah friday, first they said 17c, but now 13c. Usually it is bad weather.
About 5 years ago when our king took the place of his mother, it's 3 days earlier, apparently still there are tourists who think it's on the 30th because of old travel brochures. :p

A lot of Dutch people really like to party and love\like their King and Queen so there's a good chance, even with colder weather, that this won't dampen their spirits. :-)

I like the part that during a paid public holiday you can drink beer all day and still get paid. :-)

It's 29Β°C here at night and over 35 in the morning, makes me miss my beachside hometown. That's a cool article, thanks!

That's really hot and I hope you can find some shade and cool refreshment\beverages. :D You're welcome and one can really find a lot of interesting articles in that Smithsonian site.

I'm doing pretty well, just ate a cinnamon raisin bagel and am drinking some coffee.
Narwhals always remind me of Elf:
"Bye Buddy, hope you find your dad!"

Reading your comment, I remembered a legend of my city.
After creating the world, God hosted a delegation from each country. Each one asked for a gift for his country. When our turn came, our representative asked for everything: blue sky, pretty coast, snowy mountains, fertile land, beautiful women and men, beautiful sunrises, poetic dusk ... God looked at him and said, "well, okay, I'll give it all, but to prevent your land from being paradise, I condemn you to have bad politicians".
It's hot in your land, well, you can not have everything :D
(And by the way, our bad politicians are spoiling everything XD)

Yep, I have definitely felt everything you are feeling at least eight times this year. Existential crisis and all.
And definitely the heat. Gosh darn it, Aussie summers burn like nobody's business, and I already hate hot weather, so it's even worse D: I hope it starts to cool down over where you are, though. Usually in tropical regions it's not so much the heat, it's the humidity that's murderous. I don't mean to mother hen it, but take care not to get sick >.<
Ah, but the latest thing to blow my mind? How Socrates died. Seriously, I dunno, I was reading about hemlock, ended up reading that instead... it's just messed up.

Never play the 'what, if'-game when you're down and in a drifting towards regret mood, only leads to more negativity :s... but yeah, I'm also not that big of a fan of high temperatures, especially when it's stagnant and without a cool breeze inbetween. Best of wishes and keep your head up high, times are always changing - who knows what tomorrow will bring ;>.

I understand that feeling. It can be hard to go a direction even if you know where it is you want to go. Hang in there. Also yes. Narwhal are amazing. XD

Vikings did awesomely, trading Narwhal horns to Europeans who believed they are unicorn horns and that they have magical properties.
I hate when I am cold. I like rain and cold when I am inside, in a warm and cozy ambient. I like driving in the rain. Heat never ever bothers me :) I probably have low blood circulation, so the cold really affects me :D

Nature can be amazing and terrifying, look at this plant that would fit perfectly in an Aliens movie, but humans can amaze you for the worst. the Pet Rock is something let's say, extravagant but knowing that the "creator" of the idea became milionare can blow your mind.
Hope this helps you overcome your heat excess.

I would enjoy some hotter weather, it's only 18ΒΊ C here and raining... I'm a cold person so I need hot weather to function, when it's cold I almost want to hibernate.
The next part of your post felt too real, so I'm going to skip it since I don't want to have a panic attack over my own existential crisis.
YAY Narwhal, they are awesome!
When I was a child I thought that narwhals were swordfishes, because well they also look like they have a sword in their face...

I feel for you. I don't like it when it's hot at all. When it's above 26 degrees, I just feel sluggish and tired, not wanting to do anything. It's actually been unseasonably cold where I live, but I fear the summer is going to be really hot.
Anyway, it's far too easy to think back and think "What if this?" and "What if that?", but you can't change the past, so try not to worry about it. Just try to learn from it and hope to do better in the future. :)
And the last thing that blew my mind is learning that VOCs from toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, perfume, moisturizer, etc - are responsible for as much air pollution as cars. I never would have imagined that.

I am one who despises heat too, having lived in desertic and tropical regions.

I do feel kind of lost sometimes and sometimes I feel things could only go wrong. And I have regrets. But other times I feel the opposite. It's kind of random so I don't really understand it myself, but stress can help bring out the not so good thoughts.
I live in Canada so the weather is pretty alright right now.

BUMP
It blow my mind that the average person is able to function in society at all. I watch the speed (or lack thereof) with which people process information and just SMH. ππ€£ Read books, people, read books.
thanks for the GAs πππ»

Good day everyone, how are you? It's freaking hot where I am. I hate being born in a tropical region sometimes, and the heat makes me think depressing thoughts. Do you ever feel directionless? Like you live your life thinking you know where you want it to lead but then you wonder if that's where you want to go and if you are capable of going there? It's confusing sometime, thinking of my life and my decisions, about how I could have done this and that differently if I was a better person.
Forget that, you know what's awesome? Narwhal. They are the unicorn of the ocean, I didn't even think they were real and my mind was blown when I learned they are indeed real. What is the latest things that blew your mind? I want to listen to other people's stories so I can be distracted from how hot it fucking is.
Thanks for reading my rant, here's a train. Nothing much, just some cheap bundle games behind a sgtools gate for people with level 1 and over. Good luck and enjoy!
