Wait. Is it in the game and the textures failed to load properly or is it just a montage?

Just another AAA game (in price if nothing else...) being thrown out into the market under tested and unfinished.

Ye, another "10€ in a deal maybe" multimillion game. When will they learn?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

So you don't like it because it's not a half assed indie game?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Good point. No.
It's unfinished, it's not tested, it has twice as bugs as Skyrim had at it's day one and it's not optimized. Just look at those reviews.
Now let's take a look at newly released indie game called The Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth.
I don't think there's a need to add anything else, except that your argument is invalid.

lolz.........

both new consoles are AMD based and they didnt even bother some optimization ?????

man this GTA V scares em all....

they released an uncomplete untested game because of that.....

The sad thing is, no matter how much Ubisoft (and other large developers, too) screws up, people are still going to throw money at them.
Gamers tend to be awfully blind when it comes to buying newly released games.

This seems to me to be the reason for reinforcing "pre-order" sales. They know they are rushing titles at most studios, and securing your payment prior to release helps boost earnings. The beauty of selling these pre-release is that once you have accepted the product... it's yours... no returns once the package is opened. So even if the game is botched and you have broken the seal... then money is theirs and the loss is yours. So why wouldn't they rope people in by adding additional content as an incentive to buy early (especially when DLC respectively takes little to generate)?
What still eludes me is that a title plagued with bugs still does not warrant product returns. If you bought nearly any other item and it was defective a return would be considered a non-issue. Why is that?
Ah well... if you'll excuse me, I am off to pre-order Arkham Knight.

Very well said.

If someone bought a product that is defective and the customer service was downright terrible, they would never, ever bought anything from that company again.
But when someone buys a game that is all buggy and glitchy AND has a terrible customer service, they post a few rants on the internet and then happilly proceed to pre-order another game from the very same developer.

That's some serious lack of judgement righ there.

"That's some serious lack of judgement righ there."

A little off topic here... but as a bit of clear evidence that I always have a serious lack of judgement... my PC may actually be worth 3x that of my vehicle. It's a recent build... so my wife is still repeatedly threatening my life.

Apparently AC:U is not even that good, both technically and in regards to content.

Comment has been collapsed.

That's the problem. If you go to a forum and tell people "Hey don't pre-order this game just wait until it's released and then we'll see how it is" you're going to get a bunch of fanboys who don't want to admit it yelling at you "Go away troll my money I can do what ever I want with it" then they give the negative reviews say they won't purchase the next game and then they pre-order AC 45.5.6 plus season pass for $120. It's insane how stupid gamers are.

well, that's the problem with all that extremly long gameseries the first 2-3 titles are great because the put much efford in it and afterwards they just continue for money and throw it out to a fixed date just to keep their wages...
(it's the same with call of duty and battlefield)

you think quake 3 looks good, it didnt look good when it was released :), probably the 2nd best multiplayer fps ive ever played though and thats not a short list(Unreal tournament take top spot for me even if it did some odd texture stuff on my voodoo 3 way back when i played it regularly)

I aways see programming problems in Ubi games. Since Assassins Creed 1 i saw this problem, the game some times no have bugs but have a terrible performance. With same hardware you can play game more advanced technically, with bether graphics , bether particle system, etc..

I'm not being too harsh on them, they have a serious problem. They need acept it and fix it. But unfortunately they only throw the blame on others.
