You're missing these two classics from the 80's.

Aso, the correct name of Mortadelo y Filemn Operacin Mosc is Mortadelo y Filemón Operación Moscú.

These games are newer games like retros.
Not straight from 80s or originals.
Just remakes or Diamon Caves is a remake from boulder dash.
Mortadelo y Filemn games are in the curator.
I add just new added retros here.

Pixel Games UK going crazy. I love it :D

This is the Amstrad CPC version, not C64.
But Yeah Pixel Games Uk brings tons of forgotten platforms.
Collections of C64 Games would be nice. (Or like the amazing Atari Collection with 150 Games incl DLC)

Well technically with gamebase you could get 28000 games.
Atleast steam got this masterpiece. https://store.steampowered.com/app/517930/The_Castles_of_Dr_Creep/
Few days ago they released Ah Diddums, but in that case the c64 is so much better then the spectrum one.

Currently 5 C64 Games on my curator.
Yepp, we need more C64 games on Steam. (not these non-licenced remakes^^)

You don't like gamebase?
Do you still have one? Me and my dad got a c64 maxi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxk4dbnQxBg
We both wanted to get back into it, but unfortunately just when he was about to try it, he passed away.

it's an excellent collection and a huge effort with a great frontend, but initially they were only going for the best version of each game, while I collect each available version by different groups. they are game-focused while I'm scene-focused, plus I have different preferences for categorization. not enough know-how for an actual database and stuff and I didn't put any time into it in the last 10 years (time flies so fast), but it's already a considerable collection where I can mostly find what I'm looking for.
sorry to hear about your dad. I was looking at the maxi or something like that, but if I wanted (and had room) I could set up the real thing with a lot more games and failing that there are emulators where I don't have to fuck around with disks and loading times and whatnot. though the maxi doesn't seem to have those either, but it's still an additional piece of hardware I have no room for.

Some seem to hate gamebase as a frontend, i love it, i got all of them, it's easy to scroll through with it's screenshots looking for games, or just remembering them from the early days.,
Oh yeah the older you get the more time seems to fly (it's actually scientifically proven) but i think it's also closer to dying makes you realize you get lesser time for all the things you still want to do.
Thanks, was a bit unexpected yeah, sucks we were a bit hard against eachother at the end, but that just learns life is short and love the ones you with. Too bad there isn't a thing such as WHDload such as on amiga, i can't wait for an amiga maxi (there is rumor about it).
I did see a c64 with all the inerts of what could be a pc, why it also costed 280-300 euro, but can't find it anymore, dunno if that would have fixed some of your problems.
Hey as long as you don't use tapes anymore, those were the worst. ;)

not sure why anybody would actively hate something like that, though I'm also more into the idea of such databases (also for books, etc.) than actually using them. a simple text file is usually enough for me. my c64 collection also started as such, then it got improved to 90s standards and it will stay there forever. plus if I start putting numbers to things, it only adds stress, even though I'm fine with not consuming everything I want or even have before I die.
most of my friends had tapes but I was always a 1541 guy. and nobody I knew had an amiga, we went on to pc after a while. then one year I found out about emulators and arnold and it took me back, started collecting, organizing, good times. I did try a bunch of amiga games, they were fun and I was considering starting a collection, but it'd be as foolish as buying a console. can't even handle pc currently and with very specific preferences, nor c64 (even if I discard all the boulder dash level packs, seuck games and other trash), so no new systems for me.

There were 4 if I remember correctly. 1, 2 on early 00s consoles, a Wii game and a 360 game.

they did some tweaking to that as well, didn't they? some scummvm fuckery. but looks like this is steam-only for some reason. should be a simultaneous release and free for current owners (I don't have it), nightdive puts stuff on gog too. though knowing gog it might just be an announcemene on the day of release. they can't even be bothered to add release dates to existing store pages with known dates, everything is 'coming soon'.

This thread is for all new retros, these added in the future on Steam. (feed) It's a reboot thead, because the last one incl. my retro group mention (sometimes with curator) and less Giveaways. (It was closed, so I hope this is now okay as source for original retros from 19xx to 2006) Remaster with the same game content are allowed, but no remakes. (You can mention it, but it don't count as "retro" in group or "counter" :D)
Enjoy
