Cyberdimension Neptunia is not an "MMORPG", the only online feature it has is to play alongside 3 friends of your choice, you can basicaly play the entire game on single player. MegaTagmension Neptunia and Hyperdimension Neptunia U are also hack'n'slash but... those may contain partial nudity and suggestive themes.

Cyberdimension Neptunia works just like an mmo and even acts like an mmo except it's mostly single player. I doubt you even need to ever encounter multiplayer but if you don't want ANY multiplayer including options then don't.

I will say the online bit is atrocious anyway due to the poor netcode. you are better off with Blanc+Neptune vs Zombies for that. For all NepNep games, it might be wise for you to watch her play though, just so you don't get odd questions after when the ecchi bits show up. Think wet clothes tier stuff if I remembered correctly. Also mentions of Lesbian 'marriage' from memory.

That, and you need to persuade her to start with Remi since Sakuya has a less blunt playstyle. More on 'traps' and dodge than Remi. Also, the platforming might induce raeg depending on the person.

I think it's because they don't put all the ecchi images on the store page. I just remember that due to having played it. To be fair, if it weren't for the ecchi CGs/clothes rips, i would have suggested stuff like Oneechanbara, Senran Kagura and Valkyrie Drive. Fun if you like mindless hackslash but the bosses can be hard if you don't know how to abuse/deal with the AI. But much tiddies and yuri, which isn't good since she's 11. Might be fine when she's 16-18~ though. I mean, I was exposed at a young age of 13, so Shrugs.
But she needs to start SOMEWHERE, kappa. The good old days of BS tier arcade games might help as well, if you get an emu/mame. You know, the coin/quarter gobblers. Came here to recommend Recettear, Cat Quest and Dragon Quest seems like a lot good people already mentioned it. Kingdom Hearts - Playstation is a good series of Disney Chars too. :D
I am not too sure if I'll want my niece to play the Neptunia series, simply due to the fact that they are very Fan-Service games. Meaning, they wear thin cloth as armor that somehow has 200 armor, pose in alluring posture, acting cute, unnatural sized chest etc. Normally its not a bad thing but personally its usually a genre I'll skip. I bought some their games recently in the bundle sale and won 1 here. There is a play value in the games imo, just that I feel a 11yr old might not see the bigger picture behind it.

That's my thoughts on it too. I'd never recommend Neptunia to an 11-year-old. I think people sometimes forget about the age appropriateness or have become desensitised to how sexualised some anime stuff is. I'd never play them myself either, because the ecchi element kinda annoys the hell out of me, to be honest. xD. This is coming from someone who was an admin on a very popular anime forum at one point.

Tbh, I get turned off more by the practice of Fan-service rather than ecchi scenes itself(Cant blame me, I'm a guy after all :3). Its one reason the image of Anime in many adults/people had for Anime is Childish or for Weebs. Although! Alot of animes also present creative ideas, non-sexual adult themed which are often deep, mind triggering or dark and gore. Not all animes are enjoyable but some animes are presentation of imagination that either cost too much to produce or not possible to get the effect with current tech. I prefer to see Animes as a presentation of creativity instead and that's pretty limitless. Fan Service is an urk moment in some series but overlooking it the series itself may provide more enjoyment.
(Its just a key I have at the moment and its not on sale either, why not for someone doing something nice for their niece :3)

Yeah, it's hard to explain, but I get so angry at fanservice. It's usually so blatent and in-your-face stuff where I'm thinking "oh please stop insulting my intelligence." Fanservice of the kind I'm thinking feels immature and gross. It's like the kind of stuff that is aimed at 40 year old virgins who still live in their mom's basement, or something like that. I have absolutely no problem with a show that has a sex scene that adds to the plot, just like any regular TV show. Even subtle fanservice that isn't the focal point doesn't piss me off so much.
I still watch anime, but it's very few these days. I was always a casual watcher picking out the decent shows to watch from a sometimes terrible lot. Maybe I watched only a few a year. One of the more recent ones I watched was Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans. Didn't get around to watching the second season, but it was a pretty good show. If there was fanservice, it was very minimal.
It's very hard to overlook it though when it's in your face 24/7. Those are the ones I just stop watching and move on to something else. XD.

I'm not ok with sex/kiss scenes in any media simply because all they need to do is to gesture it and it ends there. There's no need to fake out a passionate sex scene or kissing scene. Why? so that the audience can feel your passion? Perhaps VR and tech can do that in future but no. There are times that those scenes are exploited from actors. Alot of rising stars are forced to do naked or sex scenes when they are younger rather than they perceive it to be art and "sacrifice". There are so many reports out there, its just fan service and also to curb the directors/investors personal pleasure imo.
I do understand the fact of Sex-Sells, just look at Steam, it just get dumb. Rather someone purchase a sexual material that caters to that than adding those into traditional media and media outlets for all ages. I have the same view with the F-Word. It just gets tiring.
I am only watching One Piece and Fairy Tail, currently, one of my favorite chars are Nami and Lucy respectively in those animes. Lots of fan-service and those are baits for the type of audience. I rather like the history and char of those, I won't deny them being pretty and a voluptuous char didn't add points. ;X I didn't get into Naruto from the start but its actually a very good series apart from fan-service and Major Fillers. If you are able to skip it and have the episodes available its totally worth a watch. Else you're practically staring at the screen for an episode for just 1 scene . . . Its very tiring.
I have too many interests, so normally, I just skip when possible or look away when it gets cheesy/fan service etc. I usually snack when watching a series but cut it down now replace with water instead. XD

Hahaha! Well yes. What I meant was... taking "Macross Plus" as an example, there was a sex scene. It showed them kissing, some removal of clothes and then they wake up in bed the next morning and have a cigarette. It was nothing graphic. We got the idea that they slept together. Those kind of things are fine in my book. There is no need for it to ever get graphic. I think some more modern TV shows go too far. XD
To be honest, I never watched any of the big anime. They are just too long. My attention span for such things is quite terrible.

For kisses, like 2 chars pressing lips together is good enough, imo. I think hugging shows affection more. There's no need for a french kiss in any other scene. For bed scenes, you lead the chars into the bedroom, sit on it, peel off the 1st layer of clothes, turn of lights, a slight silhouette of them hugging each other, I think we all know what'll happen.
Perhaps, its more interesting for the youths but over using it as a medium now. Also over-sexualising imho. Its somewhat portrayed like Sex is essential for a relationship which I think not which I am more conservative for this topic. Making it a social norm seems to generate more pervs nowadays, every couple of months here there's University students, Engineers etc, educated persons getting caught video capturing underskirts. Of course it was way worse in ancient times and its been around ages for sure but just not as wide reported or such sexualising was not achievable till the widespread of Social-age now.
I am also not saying they could not or should not make it but if you want to sexualized your medium please tag it properly to the appropriate target.
I think if you get the chance and get hold of a major series, an anime marathon is great, I enjoyed it whenever possible. Sometimes I steer off from catching animes weekly, enjoyed the One Piece marathon last week. I still have Fairy Tail to catch up, it be great. Also as I mentioned skipping is a big part as you can skip openings or scenes that simply repeat what you already knew. I've watched these Shonen series since I was younger so its no brainer I continued since they continue to interest me, except the pace of Naruto, yet to complete Shippuenden and the 1st series was a torture for its fillers and pace. I am sad, disgrunted at the finishing of BLEACH a series I greatly see potential of but ended very poorly and immaturely for the Anime. :)

Oh, you're right. I absolutely agree with you on the impression it's having on young people. There was a shocking story going around among people I know where they teasingly asked a 13-year-old girl "Is he your boyfriend?" Her reply was "No, we haven't slept together yet, so he's not my boyfriend." They told her father about it so that he could set her straight. When I was that age, it was completely different. It's kinda terrifying that 12 and 13 year olds are thinking that way. :(

Ohhh Kingdom Hearts would be the absolute goto, she very much enjoyed Castle of Illusion and i did´nt have to think about lewd content at all. Alas, she does´nt have a PS. I´d prolly want to play it for her, too xD
The clothing issue is what put me off aswell, kids these days get into contact with oversexualized content way earlier than any generation before them, and i already know how well that tiny amount of very very pixelated exposure worked out for me 25 years ago. It´s a little scary tbh.
