Would like a separate EU (and NA) region?
I added North America (Canada, United States) and Saudi Arabia + United Arab Emirates regions. The issue with the EU is the variety of different EU restrictions that TempeteJoachim mentioned. If we added a general EU category, then users would likely post their giveaways there (on purpose or accident), even if their gifts could only be activated in a smaller part of the entire region.

I hope you'll have a look how this develops. I don't really like EU being open to everyone, while, theoretically, everyone else can close their doors. If region restrictions should largely happen without any necessity, there should be some form of balance.
The argument that people might chose the wrong region, seems to be a weird argument to not grant the option at all. And that only for the EU. EU 1, EU 2 and subregions as Germany and Poland, should cover pretty much all scenarios?

Could we also have a South Africa region too? Steam added South Africa currency and made it into a new ACRTAG region, which means gifts purchased in there can only be given within the same region (it's added around the same time as UAE+Saudi Arabia). Thanks!

Most of those listed only apply when buying. (So once bought is region free).
Three Biggest are: Activison, Deep Silver and 2K.
Intersect with astragon:
Astragon seems to have RU/CIS/PL codes activate in rest of EU too, but missing languages of those regions (RU/Checz only for example).
Since EU region locks seem on rise (I guess it's to combat CD-key sites), it seems that recent AAA-games have been more tightly locked)
I'd say there will be problems once Mafia 3, Civilization VI and Call of Duty IW starts getting deep discounts regardless of whatever region is added or not though and if other publishers join region locking.

Why not just some advanced options with a full checklist? :S

I only just now noticed this, but thank you for the NA tag!

Europe as a whole would present the problem TempeteJoachim mentioned, that the continent is not one single region in this aspect; for example, the CIS region has quite a large area covered on the continent. The only consistent one seems to be the EU countries, with Germans sometimes getting different products after activating an EU key.

It has came up a few times here and there, but seriously: I am now looking at the Humble Build-Your-Own Bundle for Deep Silver, and yet again I have to stay my hand because I know I cannot give away the keys from it, as that publisher (and sometimes Capcom, plus maybe a few more) lock many of their games down to a Europe-only region, and those keys cannot be used anywhere else.
Considering that we have a lot of people registered here from Europe outside of Germany or Poland (the only two regions where one may drop these keys right now), and sure as hella lot more than from Turkey—which is also a region here—I honestly doubt a Europe-only region would be underpopulated.
I mean, yes, Polish are wonderful people and the Germans earned to be the de facto rulers and central economical power sources of the continent through hard work, but I am sure people form the other countries would appreciate if they could participate in regional giveaways as well.
Same can go for North America, as now it can also be a separate locked-down region. (Although probably still mostly for console games.)
