Has anyone here on steamgifts tested TrinusVR? Maybe we could share settings, games that work fine...

For those not knowing, it's an Android app (client) + PC program (server) that streams PC games to the smartphone making them VR compatible.
All you need to test it is your Android phone (with gyroscope) and one of those cheap VR headmounts for mobile phones. The free version of the Android app allows you to use it for 20 mins each time (full version is 6.49€)

Obviously this is only cheap if you already own a compatible phone.

So far I've tested (but just a little):
-Half Life 1: even with its quite old graphics, it looks ok on VR
-A Story About My Uncle: pretty good

Things I still need to do: learn how to use with Vireio Perception and finishing configuring the PS3 navigation controller (for some games I find more comfortable using this controller + mouse rather than the gamepad, although that combination might have few buttons for some games)

What do you think of TrinusVR?

It's great (at least until I can afford a proper VR headset)
Obviously it's not a match for proper VR headsets, but it's not bad for making a first contact with VR
It don't like, I haven't managed to make the games I want to work properly with it
Tri... what? Never heard of it

Looks great! Nice use of a mobile phone :D

Does anyone know how to run windowed games using Steam In-Home Streaming? I'd like to test Trinus with some games installed on another computer, but even if I change the game setup into windowed, it is still displayed in fullscreen mode.
