Another 6/10 for The Hobbit, which would have been my rating even before seeing MrCastiglia's post. It certainly wasn't bad, and if the LotR films didn't exist I'd probably rate it higher... except they do, and it's not as good as any of them. Too many parts felt like deja vu (a warg chase on the plains again, Gandalf shouting "Run!" over and over again, Gollum being well... Gollum except it's boring me now), and my goodness did the whole thing feel strung out. I'm hoping things improve over the next two films (two! Why!?) otherwise this is rather going down as a disappointment.
Additional notes: Seen in 2D, standard fps.

Monster's Ball went on TV. 3/10
Your typical sappy inspirational melodrama about how racism is bad and shit. For people who thought Crash (2004) wasn't terrible. (Granted, this is better than Crash.) The reason it's not a 2/10 is because of the cinematography. Too bad the cinematographer keeps working with the same director.
