I've had no problems with Win 10... also isn't it too late to upgrade for free? You can do compatibility for 7 right? You'll have to upgrade eventually when they stop supporting 7 which will probably be sooner then you think.

The only change you will feel is the UI, and the ability to play Gears of War 4. Nothing else.
There is very little reason to upgrade even when considering DX12, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_games_with_DirectX_12_support
I'm betting 50$ that Microsoft games that use DX12 and are locked to Windows 10 exclusivity can be ran on Windows 7 easly. I remember how they tried to force people to upgrade to Vista via releasing Halo 2 as Vista exclusive, and yet I beat it on Windows XP SP2.
PS: Microsoft Store sucks hard. Incredibly hard.

Faster boot times and less resources used. My CPU is dynamically clocked, and on idle the system needs about 1-3% at 0.8 GHz. Win7 needed 2-4% at 3.5 GHz.
I also like the UI more, except for the fact that they split the Control Panel functions into two, and often not in a manner that feels logical to me.
Still, in the end, maybe no. I think Win10 feels snappier, but some people are more prone to have annoying issues with it. I had to go back recently to Win8.1 on a PC from Win10 because there were some issues with the only available driver (it was a mini-PC), but on my home desktop it feels a lot better than Win7 ever did (and I really loved Win7).

I have not had any issues with any games running on my rig with win10 and i have almost 3000 of them,to be fair ive only played about 50 of them since the switch to 10 lol. Other then Microsofts Obnoxious spying in windows 10 its otherwise pretty good, youll want to get some apps for it like "Shutup10" to block M$'s spying unfortunately it will turn off some features like Cortana but thats ok shes like that nosy neighbor thats always looking out her window when your dogs taking a crap on the lawn,so no big loss there.

To be honest the main reason why Im hesitating about upgrading to Win 10 from my Win 7 64 bit is simple: many games compatibility got broken with 10 and since its unlikely to ever get fixed other than using workaround tweakings/installing a second OS/VMWare, I just cannot decide....
The windows store as in itself doesnt interest me on the slightest , I have all my stuff on Steam and thats good enough to me, although im getting a bit worried that devs will slowly cut compatibility from win 7 and heavily pushing toward 10 more.
