I prefer this song about Beethoven.

A bit too slow and mellow or droning. I like music a bit more up beat. Simon and Garfunkel are one of my favorite groups. That song reminds me of some of Neil Young's slower songs, but I like Neil Young :)

Benji Cossa - Volcano (first heard this in the credits at the end of the movie Zero Day (2003), good movie)
I don't remember how I heard about The Milk Carton Kids, but I like some of their music. Not surprising considering they are similar to Simon and Garfunkel.

That's a pretty wide genre selection you're referencing, so it's hard coming up with a response that properly addresses your tastes.
