Question about Red Orchestra 2

I won Red orchestra 2 GOTY some days ago, I activated the key correctly and downloaded it. Now that Im playing it it asks me to buy Rising Storm to unlock weapons, and it only allows me to use ONE rifle and ONE pistol, making the game completly boring. Do I really have to buy a new steam game to unlock weapons?
In my library it says Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2 multiplayer (dont know why).
If anyone knows something about this, please reply here, thanks

Rising Storm is basically an expansion to Red Orchestra 2 but they're giving you a taste of what's in it.

You should also have entries in your Steam list for Red Orchestra 2 Single Player and Multiplayer. The Rising Storm/Red Orchestra split is kind of silly and just makes original RO2 owners have to re-download ~10GB for no reason in particular.

I have RO2 SP and another one called RO2 Beta, I think that's the one I should download...

The reason it's called that is simply because you can play on all maps, including the ones that comes in the Rising Storm expansion... but you can only play on those as a rifleman with no unlocks unless you buy it.

If you want to play regular Red Orchestra 2 though, you want to download the one called "Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2 Multiplayer". Then just join a server that's running Red Orchestra 2 maps, on those you'll have access to all weapons.

You can play red orchestra 2 maps with all classes. Only on rising storm maps you are allowed to play rifle man as you don't have the game yet. You can check which type of map the server is using at the lobby.
