Hamilton's Great Adventure Not Starting?

Anyone got this issue? I just bough the game and now i cant even open it.
Would be greatful if someone helped me out! THanks alot!

ISSUE:

I downloaded game thru steam. Pressed PLAY In my steam Library. Nothing Happens..

With admistrative rights? Try verifying your game file. (I think that is what it is called)
It's done in steam under the games local files.

it worked . go to steam apps there is some thing inside that folder which u need to install 1st then restart pc then try it . it will work :)

some guy posted this on the steam forums about a year ago.

"Okay this may help some of you. Have a similar system to some others in this thread and ran into the same problem.
I had previously uninstalled physx a while ago. So when I tried playing the game it had installed the version the came included. (9.10.x)
1)Control panel ->uninstall tried uninstalling physx and had error messages so I actually uninstalled via ccleaner. http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner
2)Googled latest physx system drivers and installed. http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9...07-driver.html (9.11.x)
3)Loaded game and it now works. hurrah.

I suspect there is either some conflict with the older files and newer drivers. Or they plain just were not 'auto installing correctly.

it's probably the Physx engine. There were some users with the same problem. They fixed it by first installing the game along with the physx version that comes with it. Once that's done you uninstall the physx version that came with the game (make sure steam is shut down meanwhile). Once that's done you install the latest new driver for physx ( I suggest downloading the latest new Nvidia driver for your vid. card since that also includes the latest new version of physx. After that, just pop a quick reboot and see if the game starts or not.

Btw, I don't have this game myself, but from what I've read this might be a way to fix the game since it worked for others. :)
