Yeah. All too spoiled. The game looks fun and only costs you $1. But since Alan Wake on Weekly only Skyrim is good enough to be there.

I'm surprised, but not really disappointed. I'd never really looked at this game before, but it looks like it could be pretty damn fun. Strange there's no BTA though, to convince penny pinchers to pay a bit more.

Hopefully, plenty of people create giveaways for this. I seemed to have missed all of the past bundles with Rochard.

If you already have the game from the previous Humble Indie Bundle, I wouldn't bother.

The DLC is .99 cents when it's 50% and will be .49 cents when it eventually hits 75% off. Unless you really want the DLC now or the art book I would wait.

Only 50 cent difference. And you can give to charity now. Doesn't that count?

You're the first person to ever try and imply that I'm a horrible person since I'd rather save .50 cents then donate it to charity!

Actually, someone whines about this every time I make a post stating "this could be obtained cheaper". I don't really understand it because if there was no charity involved, people would be trying to save even a penny if possible.

There are also no girls around here, so who are you trying to impress?

You would still have an extra key for the base game you could potentially give away to a friend or on SG, use to trade for another bundle game you may have missed, etc. Then you add on the DRM free soundtrack and an art book as well as the option to give to charity if you desire. Not to mention you wouldn't have to wait for a sale, you'd have it now. All those things are valid reasons why buying now is a good idea for some.

So where exactly did Dacoda imply you're a horrible person?

I would suggest reading what I've actually posted and maybe accepting the fact that people have different opinions and views. No matter how many times you try to convince yourself that your opinion is the valid, it doesn't make it true.

You would still have an extra key for the base game you could potentially give away to a friend or on SG, use to trade for another bundle game you may have missed, etc.

There are many people on SteamGifts who don't trade and some people who don't care to giveaway and unfortunately there is no way to force these people to do either. I would assume those exceptions are the people who should just feel fine knowing "you're giving it to charity" and that's that?

Then you add on the DRM free soundtrack and an art book as well as the option to give to charity if you desire.

(This is where I started to doubt you had actually read anything)

Like I said in my initial post, "If you already have the game from the previous Humble Indie Bundle". The group of people I'm talking to already have the game and soundtrack in DRM free form. The art book was also brought up when I said "Unless you really want the DLC now or the art book I would wait.".

Not to mention you wouldn't have to wait for a sale, you'd have it now.

The DLC was 50% off on Steam 3 weeks ago so anyone who truly wanted it, probably already has it! I might be taking a total shot in the dark here too, but I have a feeling there might be a Summer Sale nearby so I would beg to differ.

All those things are valid reasons why buying now is a good idea for some.

You left out a very important phrase which is "in my opinion".

So where exactly did Dacoda imply you're a horrible person?

I thought the implication was fairly obvious. I realize you didn't read the majority of what I wrote, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you just missed his reply.

I find it hilarious that you think I'm trying to force my opinion down your throat. In fact, my entire comment was posted to provide reasons why some people may think it's worthwhile to just purchase the weekly deal as opposed to waiting for the DLC to drop down to 75% off in order to save 50 cents, which to my knowledge has never dropped to 75% off on Steam yet. Just because I'm offering an opinion that differs from yours doesn't mean mine is right or that yours is wrong, simply giving people who may be reading this thread some things to think about if they fall into the category of only owning the base game.

Maybe you're just easily offended or you're particularly cynical. pats

This time you actually read the replies, but you misinterpret them instead. lol

In fact, my entire comment was posted to provide reasons why some people may think it's worthwhile [...] to my knowledge has never dropped to 75% off on Steam yet.

I voice my opinion, I get called out for saving .50 cents, I defend myself, you show up and voice your opinion with explanations, I defend myself with explanations. Yet somehow in your head, you're doing the right thing and I'm the horrible one? The funny part is, my initial reply to Dacoda wasn't pushing my opinion, it was saying that he was not the first person to question why I wouldn't give it to charity.

p.s. I think my statement of "when it eventually hits 75% off." should have indicated that I was aware it hadn't been 75% off. That would have required you to not only read, but also understand the post, which as we've seen, isn't that easy for you.

Just because I'm offering an opinion that differs from yours doesn't mean mine is right or that yours is wrong,

So with that said, you were simply voicing your opinion to add to the collection of opinions? Since like you said, just because our opinions differ it doesn't make either wrong.

In my initial post I used the terms "I wouldn't bother" and "I would wait" to show that it was my personal opinion. Where as in your replies, everything is "you" as if you were trying to force it.

Simply giving people who may be reading this thread some things to think about if they fall into the category of only owning the base game.

That's hilarious. What do you think my intentions were with my initial post? Then some other people decided to come "share their opinion".

Sure, I'm the one misinterpreting things. You claim you were "called out" when Dacoda's reply to you states "Only 50 cent difference. And you can give to charity now. Doesn't that count?" I don't see what exactly is so offensive about this reply that you think Dacoda is implying you're a horrible person or that it was all in an attempt to impress some girls. Charity may not be a factor for you but it doesn't mean it's not a factor for other people as well. If people are allowed to have differing opinions, why are you tearing Dacoda down for offering one that differs from yours? I personally don't see it, but I guess I'm not allowed to inquire either.

I reply to you with other reasons aside from simply being able to give to charity why some (as in, not all) people may find buying the HIB Weekly to be worthwhile as opposed to waiting for a 75% off sale. I ask where Dacoda implies you're a horrible person and from that, you insult my intelligence by questioning basic reading comprehension skills. This is now two people you've personally attacked for seemingly no reason other than offering an opinion that differs from yours. I still stand by my opinion that you're easily offended or particularly cynical. You're more than welcome to have any opinions you wish to have about me.

I find you particularly rude and abrasive, which is not exactly conducive for discussion on an internet forum where people are encouraged to voice their opinions. When you're done belittling others in a feeble attempt to make yourself feel better, then come talk to me.

In fact that's the reason why I was checking the thread, to see if someone said anything about the eventuality of not having individual keys. I mean, individual keys should be the logical thing to assume, but with Humble Bundle you never know.. (e.g. Telltale Weekly)
I already own the base game, actually it's the first game I won here on this site, directly from the developer's giveaways, and I LOVED it. So much that I felt guilty about not paying for it and bought another copy for a friend who wanted it too.
So yeah, basically I could just get the dlc for less, but if I can give the base game to someone else and help spread the word on it, I'd rather buy it there.

getloadedgo always has good games, the problem is that they are mostly the same games every single time

so prepare for Mafia 2, Bioshock 1-2, Darkness 2, Civilization 5, Duke Nukem Forever, Xcom, Borderlands 1-2, etc.
