The successive transformative updates include enhanced player progression with fully revamped and rebalanced RPG systems and economy, more diverse secondary locations, loot and encounters, new combat tuning options and balancing - including an alternative aiming system and increased non-lethal options, reworked companion AI, completely overhauled UI that includes a new Posse Reputation tracker and a whole new game mode that added permadeath, higher stakes and bigger consequences.
Jeez, they remade the game from scratch according to that.

That's great news for those interested in Weird West! I finished it on gamepass last week, it's a pretty good game.
Tip: sure you can upgrade your weapons and vests (armor) yourself with copper/silver/gold nuggets, but the fastest way to get the good stuff is to rob stores at night. Gather those picklocks (5 for the entrance door, 5 others for the door to the owner's room so you can get the store key from pickpocketing the sleeping owner) and grab that sweet loot.
