Dota has no Tutorial System, but it's implementing it in the next months and for me Dota 2 is muuuuch better than LoL and yes I played them both longer, so right now LoL is easier to start, but when changing to Dota you will still be confused ^^

Coming from someone whos been playing a bunch of mobas for a long time, I would say awesomenauts is the most beginner friendly. The community there is great. LoL requires a lot of mechanics you have to learn and its not easy to pick it up right off the bat. HoN in my opinion is awful, even worse community than LoL. DotA and DotA 2 are more complicated than LoL but I'm pretty sure the community there will be better.

there are no noob frindly games in this genre, and if you start one you will stay there, cause it's very hard to learn and if you change games you have to start all over, so I'd recommend you play dota2, cause it's the best one out there. (I have played all of them, especially LoL, and dota2 is better)

I feel like I'm missing out on a whole genre of gaming by not playing any of them, however what I've read about the communities of these sorts of games has kept me from giving any of them a fair go. Can anyone recommend either a single player game in the genre to get acquainted with the rules, or a multiplayer one which is somewhat noob friendly?
