Honestly I don't see it going to -75% within 2013. It could get a -50% for Xmas though.

When I first read the thread title, I thought it was meant as a jab at american politics...

as much as I liked civ 5 and played it like crazy when it came out, gods and kings wasn't the big motivator to get back into it I had hoped. I'm likely to wait until the fall or winter sale and pick it up then if I feel the civ urges again.

basically my answer is if you are still playing it heavily and you will make good use of the new expansion before the 25-50% sale this fall then go ahead and get it
