If they have blacklisted you, then they deserve to win any of your ga's!
Not on your WL, but made it to the lvl 5 ga. Thanks. :)

I envy you this month you'll spend on yoga training the most :D
Also, I have only good memories from France and I wish you the same :D
If you'll have time and will be in west France, there are few places I can recommend. Mont Saint-Michel, very unique and magic place. Pornic, small beautiful city near the ocean, if you'll be somewhere around you may want to visit it for one day ;) There is also the city Guerande with the centre originally build in Middle Ages. The city is also known for salt marshes that work constantly since before X century.
About Paris, there is big antique market in Saint-Ouen open in weekends (you can reach the place by taking metro 13 from the center of Paris to the station Garibaldi). I know you'll probably won't have place in your luggage to buy anything big but maybe you'll find a small souvenir... or you can just visit the market to look at pretty, shiny things :3
Anyway, good luck, stay safe and have fun with your trip <3

I'm really looking to getting into a regular yoga practice again. It seems so much harder to practice when it's -40C out. Thanks for the recommendations in France. We'll be on the west coast for most of it, i'll take note of some of those locations. Appreciate the well wishes, you should stop by the final gate and grab a drink ;)

Sounds like nice trip planned. I could never get 5 months off unless I quit.
I would say to be vary of scammers and pick-pocketing in New Delhi. If you are buying something make sure to check at least 5-6 different shops. If you find some nice locals to help then its better. Otherwise you can book a guide from some reputed places, because sometimes guides will take you to stores to shop where they have fixed their %.

So my boss recently approved a 5 month leave from work. My girlfriend was able to receive a similar leave from her employer. I've been wanting to do a prolonged backpacking trip for a long time, so this seemed like a perfect opportunity. I also paid off the last of my massive debt this week. That in itself is a reason to celebrate! Lesson I learned is that credit cards are not the same as cash. :(
Countries we plan to visit so far include India (yoga teacher training for a month), Thailand, Taiwan (to visit the Global Tea Hut) and France to visit friends who own a small farm. If you've ever been to these countries or nearby regions, please share your tales of adventure!
I've put together a train for those interested in following along! Boarding Pass - Gate 22
*Edit I've received several blacklists since posting this thread, maybe because of the sgtools requirements on the train? I'm sorry if anyone is being left out. If you're having an issue getting on board, please let me know. I've already adjusted the requirements once and am willing to do so again.
I added a gift for those who couldn't get past the sg tools check.
*Edit 2 In the rush of packing and getting to the airport I haven't had time to reply to all your comments and suggestions, but rest assured I highly appreciate all the input and thanks! I'll update over the next few days (internet connection permitting) and maybe add another gift or two. ✈️
