I'm sad it's not really a thing in the UK. No flowers/chocolate here.

Luckily I am a strong independent woman who has acquired her own chocolate from the supermarket.

I understand the point of the womens day, but in all honesty there should either also be a mens day or none of those days at all. Equality goes both ways. That said: Happy womens day!

Thanks, though I kind of wonder what the point of this day is? I think stuff like this just helps make the feeling of gender divide bigger. The whole Us vs Them mentality is not a good thing, imo. On the flip side though, I guess women who really fought for REAL equality (right to vote, etc) do deserve praise and celebration.
