So once again I stumbled upon the same issue on Steam. I can't download any games, as soon as I start download and steam crashes, and the only way to make steam work again is to start it up in offline mode and then remove the game I wanted to download and start it up again. This has happened in the past and fixed itself over time, but is an extremely frustrating issue. Reinstalling steam had no impact on it whatsoever and I won't even bother on contacting support as their only way of help is to "Reinstal Steam"

Any suggestions besides reinstalling Steam and removing .blob files? This forum is literally my last source for help.

Yeah.. the only thing that I have issues with on steam is steam servers sometimes go down once every week or so for a few min. And that has been getting better recently.

There is one surefire way to fix it. However, it should be your last resort.

FORMAT EVERYTHING AND RE-INSTALL WINDOWS

Delete your STeam Client registry blob, restart steam it will auto rebuild. Should fix the issue.

I've tried that the issue still persists, it's like what is the point of having games if you can't even play them? o.O
