Yep, sure. I do not deny that /mlp/ is a dump, but it is 4chan, what can you expect. As with any fandom, MLP has all kind of fans, and 4chan is bound to draw that kind of people to that board. People just freak out about mlp r34, as if there was not r34 of every other animation in the world, be it anime or not. But it's stupid to judge the show based on a 4chan board.

People actually care about Japanese dub and upload it. Darn it. I don't like MLP, but you should watch it with original voice acting. You should watch everything with original voice acting. That's how it was supposed to be watched.
Of course there are exceptions.
Well, it's sometimes fun to watch a show in a different language, but some people probably think it's superior because it's in Japanese.

Indeed. There are good reasons to prefer the original language (possibly with subtitles) over dubs. If people watch Japanese shows in Japanese but then also watch American shows in Japanese, that would mean that they weren't making their decisions for these good reasons.

Not when you're talking about Japanese original language. They've got an entire industry dedicated to it. Jesus, have you heard US dubbing of anime? It's pretty fucking terrible. Fingernails-on-chalkboard terrible.

ok I finally managed to see the video and omg, this isn't right at all.
The nearest cartoony looking anime that I watch is Panty and stocking, this just cross over the line.

Just because something animated is shown in Japan doesnt make it anime. Its a cartoon and forever will be a cartoon. Beyond just the origin of the series that dictates what it is, anime is also a style all its own that is very different from a cartoon.
Much like a Soap Opera is different then other TV shows. It carries with it, its own style and structure.

Note: I'm not a brony, and I don't mind any of them, if you don't like ponies then don't post or be in the thread, I just like the dubbed voices.
MLP:FIM just debuted in Japan for the first time, either people like /a/ are either pissed about more cartoon horses or understand the fact that its been 2 years for us to deal with this show, this is the first episode dubbed in Japanese with several changes, a different opening and ending.
