The prices were changed back to the normal prices: Standard Edition is US$39.99 and Gold Edition is US$52.99 now... (:P)

The origin version gives an uplay key too so you can play it on uplay standalone.... it's even better than buying it on steam.

$39.99 right now! Seems like you found a bug, I don't use Origin though (and FUCK EA and their DLC policy).
