Here's it's what unemployed bums get for free, teachers make several times more. And it's not a single teacher who buys it personally but a driving school that teaches professional truck drivers. So not much at all when the students are paying up to 8000€ for the driver's licence and related teaching. And that's just a basic truck/bus licence, extra certs like hazardous materials probably cost more on top.
