So, i've given away 5 games all part of the anomaly bundle off fanatical and now i'm level 1, cool i'm happy with that but i checked all the values of the games and it was about £35 and i'm right i'm saying thats more than $25 needed for level 2 but steamgifts says i've only given $4 and i'm pretty confused. It's not the end of the world but this is a bit weird.

I recommend checking the FAQ section titled: "What are "No Value", "Reduced Value", and "Full Value" giveaways? How do they affect my overall contributor value?"

Is there something in the existing docs that is not clear? It's all explained in the FAQ and in other posts?

Short story: You are giving away games that attract reduced CV or no CV.

Hello & welcome here .
If you create a giveaway there are small stars or none
No stars = 100% of the Value in US dollars .[Non bundled]
1Star = 15% of the Value in US dollars [Bundled]
2Star = 0% Value in US dollars[Was given away for free (more than 1000keys)]
Added you to my WL for some newbie love ^-^

You can check out your real CV here http://www.sgtools.info/sent/rapidtorvosour
Also, if you scroll down, you can see which ones did counted as no value or reduced value

How it works has already been explained by the people above.

Paid $1, got $4 in CV. That's kinda a gain value-wise. If you look at it that way, you shouldn't be disappointed. ;) It's a fair system and the CV you get is usually more generous than the true value of bundled games.

Welcome to SG! I hope you enjoy it here.

I hope that others will correct me if I am wrong, but the following is my understanding of things and is meant as an addendum to what others have stated.
Essentially, any game which is in a bundle where the price of the game is calculated as being ~90% [Edit: I've been told it is 95%] off the list price (where bundle price / # of games in bundle = avg price per game) gets put in the "bundled games" list. Everything on the bundled games list, as mentioned above, gets 15% of the CV that an unbundled game would get.

Nearly everyone builds their CV by almost exclusively giving away bundled games.

You're mostly right but it's actually 95% off.
